How many of you Love your job but HATE the size of your paycheck?
I am so Captain of that boat right now. I have a few other jobs I have been looking at that are pretty much you doing the same job every day for 8 hrs straight. Of course they pay a little better which is what I desperately need right now.
Have you ever had to leave a job that you enjoyed because it just couldn't pay the bills?

hello pal, i somehow understand the feeling coz it had happened to me before. i was in a job, and for me the job was ok. i enjoy it there and the nature of the job isnt that stressful yet the pay is not enough so i choose to leave the said job and try to find another one. luckily, i have found a new one that can sustain our needs and that job is what i still have until now. the problem is that i dont enjoy this job that much and i am not happy anymore with it. its as if every day that i have to report to work i am asking myself should i report to work today or should i not? i must admit the pay is good compared from the old job i have had yet it if as if i am on a self battle on every day that i have to report to work for i really wanna leave this job yet i dont have much choice yet. hopefully after a year or two, i will leave this job as base on my experience, i would rather have the job that i enjoy and then i would try to look for some part time to sustain the lacking part

I hear you there. Your situation sounds just like mine. I have not yet changed jobs but I do know of a few opportunities that I could jump on and they have better pay but they are nose to the grindstone jobs that you do your work and you leave and your almost locked away in a dungeon all day. I am just thinking is happiness worth giving up for better pay.

I enjoy my work but there are times when I am not happy with the paycheck I am receiving. Especially when I exert extra effort on working overtime for urgent projects. I sometimes feel under appreciated by my employer cause it doesnt matter if I work hard or not. The company doesn't give me any bonuses for my effort.

I understand what you mean. I work a very rewarding job with kids but the pay just doesn't compensate for the love you get when you walk through the door. If every hug I recieved could pay the bills I could give you some. :)

and do something else to compensate for the money

Same goes here, I enjoy my job a lot but the earnings is just enough. No savings only enough to live up everyday but Id don't bother of quitting it I'm looking forward that one of this day they will increase our salary. And if i quit my job I may found a new one but doesn't sure if I could be regular most job today are contractual it is hard to find a stable one.
