It is about a cove in Taiji,Japan where they slaughter 20,000 dolphins a year.It is hard to watch and very heart wrenching, but it made me aware of a grotesque reality. I am not an avid activist, but after watching this I started researching and signing petitions to try and make a difference.

Thank you for commenting. They are not endangered yet, but at this rate they will be. You should watch the movie it is very informative. The dolphin meat is mislabeled and sold to the Japanese people for consumption. Dolphin meat contains high levels of mercury which causes serious health problems and birth defects in unborn babies. So, they are actually poisoning the people. Thanks to this documentary and activists people are becoming aware.

I have seen the trailer of the documentary, but I have yet to watch it.I have apprehensions of watching it since I love dolphins and I couldn't stand it if it's killed.I can't believe what humans will do for money.humans will even wipe out species so they can earn money and be rich.little did they know, keeping animals alive will give them more money.
