Modernized Classic Computer Games

I saw my mom using my laptop playing Chicken Invaders. It kinda reminded me of the classic game Galaga an Atari franchise game. Though of course the graphics are very much improved in CI and it has an entertaining storyline, it still has that classic computer game feel we used to play. What are other computer games today that you know, which makes you remember those classic computer games you used to play when you were a kid?
