Is the whole "Twilight Movie" craze really that serious?

I am a Twilight fan but I guess the craze would mellow down after the last series is shown in the cinemas. That's how it goes with books that where adopted into film. Besides that, I do not see anything wrong with the craze. As long as tha fans are being nice to everyone else and is not harming anyone who do not like the series, being crazy about the book or the mive is just fine.
