Euro 2008 winners Spain were one of the favourites going into World Cup 2010, while Germany have been identified by many as the most impressive team in the tournament so far and want to see them in final. Which should all add up to one excellent World Cup semifinal. Incredibly, Germany haven’t won a World Cup in 20 years, and haven’t won the thing since reunification. This tournament looks like Germany’s chance to not only reclaim the World Cup, but to do so in a style that could redefine perceptions of German football. But they need to beat Spain before thinking about that. Which team do you support?

surely there is no doubt that German team is much disciplined and spirited in this version of the World Cup. but Spaniards are more keen on making it to the lifting the Cup for the first time.
The Match is on cards and I would be standing by Spain for we need a new face as the final moment winner.
Lets wait and see.

Indeed, a reunion of Euro 2008 and so far the Germans are displaying it vividly that they can go through the finals and make their own history as well. This could be the sweet revenge for the Germans? I am just hoping that they can sustain and duplicate the way they have played against the Argentine. Though what happened in Euro 2008 would be a different thing right now, specially with the line up of the Germans yet you cannot count out Spain also with their impressive runs going to the semi-finals. It might not be that impressive as the Germans did but the ball is still round and lightweight as many claimed.(?)

Well in my opinion Germany is going to win it but its not going to be easy. I think there will be extra time tonight and maybe even penalties. To be honest I'm not a big fan of Spain so I hope the Germans advance to the final. I can see Klose or Schweini playing a big role in the game.

Hopefully it should be a good semifinal. I would like to see Spain win for the main reason that they have never won the world cup and we would be guaranteed to have a new world champion.

Germany to go through to the final. They have more of a passion and desire to win, the Dutch are good but not good enough.
