This weekend i was agast to find that every single perfume costs more that $80, that to just for 50ml...Why there is no middle line? Either the perfume is $5-10 but are of cheap quality else they are extremely high priced...is there any perfume which stays day long and yet don't burn your pocket???

i guess brand plays a big role on the price. if you would notice, more well known brand costs more. but it really is priced like that because they use different oils, and it adds up.:)

they do add up to my bill....I like to collect perfume and that eventually leads to shopping and bills at the end of the month...

dont compare them with a bottle of soft drink,
perfumes are not to drink actually, we use very small quantity at one time
and its ok with the price, as u can use it for a long time

I would say it depends what brand of perfume you want to buy. There are lots of perfume that doesn't cost that much but still smell good and reliable to use. Also depends to some shoppers too on how they choose perfumes to buy.
