One of my friends told me what I do is unnessecary(SP). I always do my whites last when doing laundry. I do this, because I like to bleach my whites to keep them their whitest. In order to keep the rest of my clothes from being ruined, I always save one colored towel and run a cycle with just detergent, to make sure there is no longer bleach in the washer.
Do you all think this is un needed too? Or is it smart to keep my colors colored? I have has clothes ruined from bleach left in the washer. I might also mention, the washer my clothes were ruined in was an older washer where you place the detergent and such directly on the clothing. The washer I currently use is newer. There is no agitator in it, and the detergent goes in a seperate compartment on top of the washing machine. Thank you all in advance for your answers and advice.

Good to know you have a process of washing your clothes and i think it is needed. I only know how to wash my underwear, socks, and handkerchiefs. :)

LoL! I am very OCD about organization, and the such. I hate things to be out of order. I have to have things in my house, just so. Thank you for responding.
