Why does our heart feel pain when we are hurt emotionally?

It was a question from my high school days that were not brought up with our teacher. We experience hurt physically if we, for example, cut ourselves and bleed. Or if we were punched, kicked and anything else. Physically, we feel pain. Why does our heart feel pain (physically) when we are hurt emotionally? From a breakup? From a loss? I meant physically because the pain is there. We feel it. But why does it hurt physically when nothing physically even touched our heart?

When we hurted emotionally and especially when we're angry, normally we will breath violently and this cause our the blood flowing fast in our body. Our heart need to pam blood strongly and fast.
That's what i know from my biology classes..haha
But sometimes if i sad, my heart pain too.

I also feel this pain many times when i hut emotionally, may be because our breathing system disturbed and lack of oxygen to the hurt is the reason
