Who here doesn't know the X-Men? Or The Justice League? I'm sure a lot of us know the superheroes who are affiliated with those two and of course their powers. We've seen a lot of different heroes, and thought their powers were cool.
My question is, if you could be a power-sucking mutant and you could absorb any of the superheroes/super villains powers, who would you choose to suck dry and why?

No Wolverine cannot live forever. He does eventually age and die later in the future.

Can Wolverine live forever? I thought he could just rapidly heal himself, it's wolf-like hence the name Wolverine. I didn't know he's immortal. Although of course he couldn't be killed. I wonder if nuclear bomb will kill him though. Haha.

See, I love Rogue, but I would never want to have her abilities because there was a major downside to her powers: she could never touch anyone.
I would not want to be a power-sucking mutant because I know that I would not be able to touch others without hurting them, and when you are in a relationship, or you are with you best-friends, that can really suck!
Sadly, most all superhuman/mutant powers have a downside to them.
I really would not want to suck anyone dry. When Rogue took Cody's memories in Uncanny X-Men, and Ms. Marvel, she was never able to get their memories or their abilities out of her head. She had to live with that for the rest of her life and it nearly drove her insane. I would never want that.
If I wanted a mutant power, I would go with flight or with the ability to shape shift. Those would be great abilities.

Yeah, I knew if came from her lack of control, but think about how long she could not control that ability?

If i would have that kind of power, maybe i would suck every super villains power. So there wouldn't be any villains left with powers, because leaving them with power is just dangerous because they are bad. So in order to maintain i would do that. Thanks for the topic and much respect.

I think there will still be villains even if you manage to suck all their powers though. Have you watched the end of Dragon Ball? I know it's a little off topic, but I just want to point out that it presented a cool philosophy in the end where Goku was forced his to go with the Dragon since his stay on Earth is attracting a lot of powerful evil villains. This is because of his immensely powerful "good" power and there has to be a very powerful "bad" power so that there would be balance.

Cool powers. Mine would be able to Fly, telekinesis, and Force Field.

Hmmm, Rogue's powers are really cool...:) Haha... I really prefer powers that are elemental...Like I can control fire, water, earth, and wind...:) Hmmm, but my eyes doesn't have to turn white...:)

Honetsly yeah rogues powers can come in handy . Absorbing the powers and being able to emulate them for a certain time . I think she can be a reall super super hero even greater than superman.
But i think one of the most powerful characters that have ever graced the shw was the phoenix. The dark phoenix to be exact
