We all have dreams when we sleep. But have you ever remembered strange dreams in the night. Have you ever thought why do you get such dreams. Is it connected to your previous life. Is it God's way of talking to you or delivering you some message. Can you interpret your dreams. It is a big mystery to mankind. Many scientists are still not 100% sure about what they mean and why do they occur. Everyone has their own view on dreams. What about you?

When i was a very small child i always used to get a dream in which i saw myself running up a cliff and when i came to its end i was about to fall down thousands of feet below but i used to wake up at that very moment completely covered with sweat and panting. This went on for many years almost upto the age of 10 or thereabouts. In anoother repetative dream i used to feel as though a heavy weight has been put on my face and chest causing me to choke and gasp for breath with a feeling of acute nausea. This too went on for many years. The result of the 2nd dream was that i could not sit in an enclosed room or movie theatre and my parents could not see movies because i used to immediately choke up and vomit. However as i grew up that feeling vanished completely. As regards the 1st dream it actually came true. When i was 24 years i had gone to a picnic with some friends. we had climbed a small but steep hillock up to a height of 15 feet. One of our friends stood down with a camera and asked us to pose for him. As we were coming down my foot slipped and i came down on the ground and fell in a standing position. The impact was so great that all the buttons of my trousers came apart. For a few moments i was dazes but recovered. My friends gathered around me in alarm but i got away without any bruises. However 6 months later i started feeling the result as i started to limp which gradually worsened and developed into Muscular dystrophy.I am now permanently on a wheelchair. This dream foretold what was to happen in my life later.

I don't think a dream is connected to our past life. Dream is more a reflection of our deep longing on something, our fears, our expectation, our problems and so on. Of course, some gifted people dream about the future, but that is different than dreams that mere us having.

I think dreams are simply your everyday thoughts in picture form. You think all day long about your hopes, your worries, your ideal situations, and things you've been through. You imagine the "what if" scenarios. I think that dreams are just all those things you think about all the time in visual form, so that you can think clearer about them. You dream while your asleep, so that you won't be distracted from this deep thinking.

I had sometimes wondered if that was in fact the case. I mean dreams tend to not make sense a lot of the times. However, most of the case is because they are unfamiliar. However, maybe in fact they are unfamiliar for a very good reason. That reason being that dreams are a window into a past life. It does make a great deal of sense for a variety of reasons.
Maybe there's some kind of message being sent. Maybe you are receiving images that are from a past or even a future life for some reason. It is quite the interesting situation to think about to say the very least. In the end, I doubt we will ever be one hundred percent sure what dreams truly are but it does make sense from this perspective. Still we may never truly know the answer. Dreams will always remain somewhat of an enigma.

I believe dreams are products of your subconscious while it is processing the events that took place in your life. Sometimes you'll get weird dreams like a lot of things are going on, but it's just your brain processing everything that you thought or trying not to think about.
Though sometimes, and this also happened to me, people claim that they've dreamt about what would happen in the future. I really don't know the scientific explanation behind this. But the paranormal explanation is that you soul has traveled to the future, that's why when it returned to your body, it gave you the memories it has seen. =)
