When I see the match last night, I get piss off. They are not like Germany like a week ago. I think Paul The Octopus has responsible for this. His predictions have broke the German confidence.

And this gives the English to start crying again over the disallowed goal. Germany are not so effective in their counter attacking game if they do not have that early lead. So if English goal had stood and it was 2-2 then you never know what would have happened :) But Spain was brilliant, they passed the life out of the Germans and then hit them with the Sucker punch and it was a bullet from Puyol that took the German life!! Cheers! Ram

The Octopus has nothing to do with it. The Germans were not playing well and Spain was consistent on their offense. I think that the Germans played superb defense but that was all they have showed off. They focus too much on defense. However, Spain played well in that game that shows why they are better between th e two. If the Germans played similar on that game against Argentina, they will surely beat the Spaniards. With this exit, the Germans should not be ashamed of their performance in the world cup. they earn much respect with it.

The octopus Paul has nothing to do with this issue. Why blame Paul? The fact is Germany team lost the game. If they even don't have faith for themselves and trust the prediction from an octopus, then they deserved to lose. I love China

I don't believe in predictions at all, but what you said is true. Perhaps their confidence broke because of that. Or perhaps Spain's confidence soared like what due to that too.

I think the Germans should concentrate on this big match for them and not believe in Paul Allen. On the other hand I feel sorry for the Germans because the octopus is right and Spain will win the tournament.

LOL... I was happy about the result.. I wasn't happy when Germany sent Argentina out. I'm glad that Spain won.. I hope they can do better by defeating Holland..

German didn't play their best yesterday, coz no Muller in their player composition. German is a very solid team if they have their mainplayers started the match. Like when they got defeated from Serbia when Klose was out from a red card. Besides, don't you think the referee was taking side on Spain ?? When Ramos deliberately stepped on Podolski foot, and no free kick or yellow card, I knew that something fishy about the ref. Spain was walk on free when they clearly made an offside. Not to mention Spain's few rough tackles that the ref decided to ignore it. I don't hate Spaint team, infact I'm Real Madrid big fan. But I honor sportivity the most, and since David Villa supposed-to-be-offside goal against Portugal, I don't support them anymore. But then again, maybe it's a karma for german team, since Lampard's goal was canceled by the jury...

I don't think so! Germany team win the match by player's height, speed, tight defense and perfect cooperation. But yesterday germany select defense faceing the explosive offense of spain! Spian with great touch and passing ability goal at last!In my opinion, germany must improve the ability of touch and passing in midfield and front field!

i was so sad because they played the best football from all of the them. They showed England and Argentina what is football. That is my satisfaction.
