After 5 years of trophyless season, Arsene Wenger have finally decided that he plans of nurturing young players isn't going to work. So this off season, he intend to overhaul the team. Chamkh is the first player the team for free. Next is Koscielny, from Lorient with a 10million transfer fee. Wenger have said this is not the end of the spending spree and at least one more player is expected to join. As an Arsenal fan, this is indeed good news.

Arsenal is running by lots of young players in the team and the new rules of eight U21 home-grown players should be there in 25 members squad. So, he has to include few player in his team and exclude some players who may not get enough chances in the next season. As a fan of Arsenal team, i want to see similar type of wonderful passing and positional football from the new team also. And if we can win the trophy that will be bonus gift for me.

Yes, but I think he continues to invest in youth, but what he has learned is that you can't win trophies with just youth!! I think the good thing for Arsenal is boorish influences like Gallas would now be out of the team. But they need to really work on their goal keeping options. Mark Schwarzer and Ricardo are being discussed, I think the former might end up a gunner. Also, the new premier league rules which come into affect this season means that there have to be 8 home grown players in the team which means players who have been with the club for 3 years before the age of 18 have to be in the squad!! So I guess the youth policy will remain intact. Cheers! Ram
