Parents behavior at Little League Games.

My son plays baseball, and every year it seems to be getting worse. The parents of some kids on some of the other teams act really crazy. They are rude, they taunt some of the kids and other parents, they are teaching their kids to win at all costs and very bad behavior will be tolerated as long as you are winning. Why can't they just let the kids have fun and play the game without interference from sideline umpires. The kids are 7-9 years old, it is getting so bad, that I don't even want to go anymore or let my kid participate even though he loves it.

My brother used to coach Little League. He quit...NOT because he couldn't deal with the kids. He said that the parents drove him crazy!!! Some kid's father was always in his face threatening him if he didn't do what they wanted. Then the same parents wonder why their children are little terrors!!! I've heard way too many times of a parent shooting & killing their child's coach. I think today's parents put waaay too much emphasis on winning instead of good sportsmanship. They were showing on the news a few weeks back where one league made it a habit that after every game both teams line up & shake hands & the loser congratulates the winner & the winner compliments the losers. They were going to have to stop that practice as a couple of the kids were punching the opponent in the face instead of being a good loser & shaking their hand. I'm sure their parents taught them that!!!

My friend use to be the coach last year, he quit also. He was tired of the same thing, parents yelling at him. He loved the kids and he really showed them good fundamentals of the game and how to lose gracefully which was great. Some of the other coaches even told him he was not following some of the rules. Finally, the umpire stepped in and told the other coaches he was following the rules correctly.

THANK YOU FOR THE BR!!!
We're supposed to mature as we grow older. However, it appears to me that adults with children just grow more immature EVERY day!!!!

A friend of mine has a son that plays sports. She was telling that the other day that a mother got up and was yelling at the Ref. It got so out of control that they called security to have her removed from the park. She turned and hit the security guard. She ended up going to jail over her actions. I like to know what that has taught her son.
No wonder these young kids are growing up to get into trouble. Shame on her..

I really can see some of these parents starting a fight at our baseball games. The worst part is it is the mom's, not the dad's that seem to be the one's mouthing off. They just make fools out of themselves and also teach their children bad behavior.

Kids that age are the same very where, it just not about the league games, it is almost about every thing competitive in which they are involved.

I think this is vulgere, this should be illegal.
And of cause the trainer should be aware and do something then just letting it happen.
This can ruin a life for kids.
And for a 7-9 year old, that is a very bad condition.
I know for myself as I´m still in the middle of the teen age, that kids get more and more agresive, and not only in the physically way.
