Did you ever have a dream that was so realistic you told yourself it was real?

By this i mean, ever had one of those dreams (bad or good) where in the dream you think/say ''this can't be a dream''. It's happened to me in the case of really good dreams where i tell myself wow, this must be a dream, then my dream-self says ''well if it was a dream you wouldn't have thought that''
Also it's happened in dreams where something terrible is happening, like plane crashing or kidnapping etc, where i've prayed and prayed that ''please let it be a dream'' even though i 'know' it's not a dream....
So, ever had this? where you're totally convinced that no way are you in a dream?
(sorry for all the dream posts...i just think it's really cool)

Yeah I think that is very cool, feeling real when you are still in dream. In real sometime we hope that could be in dream but I think all this stuff only depend to our focus thinking. I ever read that people can arrange his dream, and when they do that thay can easily arrange his real life. Dream is not so simply I think, just enjoy your dream... LOL

Yes...one day...i went home from college and went to bed. it was in the noon that i went to bed...when i got up it was 9 in the night...i slept for almost 6 hours. i work up in the night and i dreamt that i got up the next morning. Then i went to the garden and saw the darness and thought that it was the next day that i work up.

yes i had this one very short dream. like 5 second dream only. here i was like watching a television and seeing the face of this one local actress flash across the screen smiling and waving her hair. it was so real it was like i was really in front of my tv on one morning or afternoon day. but i don't see the place where i am and only the tv screen was what i am seeing. and not the tv box itself. only the screen fills my vision. and i thought while i was in my dream, why this actress transferred tv network and went into this show and a week after that she announced she transferred on this tv station on my dream, and transferred to this show which was shown on my dream. i was really surprised. she came from a tv network which was in direct competition to the station she transferred into.

yes it has happened to me. Once i was asleep and someone pinching me and i was wondering who was doing it. It was all dark and i couldn't see any one. They suddenly i saw my sweet girlfriend who was troubling me very sweetly and not allowing me to sleep. i was telling her in my sleep please let me sleep. But she was not letting me go. I was thinking that it was a dream. I was talking in my sleep. But i was shocked to see her actually near my bed and physically present. I was so surprised and couldn't believe my eyes. It was not a dream. It was really her. And that was such a wonderful experience.

Yeah, I have to agree with the others. Most of these dreams are usually nightmares. I had a nightmare like this once when I was a kid and until now I can still think sometimes that it was real. I still think that way sometimes because the scene of my nightmare occurs in a place I went everyday as a kid.

last night i was reading some school stuff when i fell asleep (happens all the time). i dreamed that i was still reading! it was weird really because in the dream i was sure that i was reading the right material but it didn't seem so right.(@_@) haha.
back when i was in high school (i was a notorious late-comer), one morning i heard my alarm clock and turned it off. i got up, took a bath, ate my breakfast, and did the rest of the usual preparations for school. when i was about to go and leave *tada!* i woke up~! it was all a dream. and i was definitely going to be late again.(*_*)

Some of my nightmares has been so realistic that on the next day I feel very uncomfortably. But I never think that this happened or will happen.
Also I have some dreams where is some daily situation and than after some time this situation happens - feeling is strange because I know for sure that I have seen it in my dream.

Actually it was a day dream, I always have a daydream.
I really have a crush on a guy, everytime I think of him I always fell on a dream.
When I think of him I always remember people saying how good he is...but to my dismay I don't see it from him.
And so I will think of him the whole afternoon and my mind will create a plot how will the two of us will fall in love and it feels like it was real and when I'm back in my senses my heart will long for it, as if I just came from a great dream and when I woke up I just want to sleep and get to that dream again.
Everytime I think of him it feels that I'm slowly falling into sleep into a great dream.
God bless.

Often. They are always nightmares. I get nightmares about being trapped in high places that I cannot climb down from, werewolves or wild animals- lions/ tigers/ crocodiles, you name it- roaming the streets of town and the like. In one dream I had to fight my way past packs of tigers to get to the train station.
Quite often I'll wake up moments before I die in a dream.
I've read that if you don't.......

What a discussion to find today. Just last night I had a dream that my cat bit my friend while she was helping me give him medication. The bite was awful, the size of silver dollar and bleeding profusely. In the dream, I told myself that this was just a dream that we had already been here and my friend did not get bitten.
You see, I had been at this friends house with my cat last night and she did help me take care of him, but he did not bite her. I woke up confused enough that I picked up the phone to call her to find out how her arm was. Luckily, I fully woke up and came to my senses before I actually hit the send button. That was have been confusing and embarassing but at the same time funny. Maybe I'll tell her about it later. But yes, my dream self was totally convincing.

sometimes I really like dreams so much. Because in my dream I can do everything I want which I cant do in my real life. I ofter want to be a fairy, with wings and flying...When I wake up I always wonder that what happen if having a lot of fairy around us...

Since i have become pregnant thats all i have is dreams. I dream soo much and sometimes yes i have dreams that seem soo real that later when i recall them i can't figure out if its a memory or a dream i had. I have done it twice since finding out i was expecting my second child. I figured it out easily with my second situation cause i realized i hadn't done something yet that i supposely done in my dream. :)
