Planning a trip to Texas

I'm going on a week long trip to Austin Texas in 2 weeks. I already bought my plane tickets and all. Does anyone from that area suggest anything I should do? I want to hit up some sort of water park if there is any. I already live in the south, but visiting a new State. Can anyone please help me?

Austin is awesome. I spend 2 years there as a student. If you want to go to a water park the best one in the whole state of Texas is Schlitterbahn water park. It is actually in New Braunfels but worth the drive. If you are into nature, go down to the various state parks. The Texas Hill country is very beautiful and relaxing. If you are more of nightlife/party person definitely hit up 6th street.It is simple a row of bars and clubs that have some of the best live music period. I love Ausitin (okay I said it twice).
Don't let people trick you into going to Hippie Hollow. You will see scary looking naked people (yuck)
