Hi, I always been a fan of those storm chaser's on TV such as on Discovery channel or I like to watch youtube, those who are caught by a tornado or violent storms. I live in eastern Canada, in Qc province, so we rarely have tornadoes. On average, 4 to 6 tornadoes each summer, so that is nothing compared to the American Midwest or in the tornado alley. One of these days, I would love to join a group of people who loves to chase tornadoes and strong storms. I was wondering if there are people here in Mylot that are fascinating about theses storms. I just want to get some information about any tours, if any exists, that offers any type of expedition or any package deal for tourist that want to know and better understand twisters and want the see them for real. I know these events are not funny for those who survives, but since I never get to see anything in Quebec, I was wondering if it is possible to go to the USA and have secure package deals about it. It is one of my dreams to see a tornado with my own eyes. Thank you.

I have the same thoughts on chasing storms... but I don't think I'll ever do that for real. I'm quite scared of it. I value my life too much, I don't want anything to ever happen to me. LoL. But the thought of it makes me feel alive if only I could do it, really. I've never seen a real tornado except on TV. It would be an unforgettable adventure if I could chase one.

Hi, I agree that tornadoes are very powerful, destructive and dangerous. But with a solid knowledge of them and with a secure behavior while chasing them, the risk of injuries or accidents are much lower. Some who dares to get way to close to tornadoes are crazy. I don't think it is a whiz thing to do. It's better to stay at a safe distance to protect ourselves against a tornado, because they are unpredictable and can change direction any minute. Well I'm hoping to see one of them, it doesn't need to destroy everything, but I would like to see a tornado out in a field, far away from any homes, cities or towns. I agree when you say its about a thrill, because hunting tornadoes and seeing one touching down must be a thrilling experience and always to remember.
