A credit card is an established line of credit. You will have to pay interest on top of what you borrowed ( and usually at 20%+). Credit Card BAD. A debit card takes money from your bank account. You don't pay interest ( sometimes you actually earn interest). Much better ( but don't overdraw from your account, they will charge you a ridiculous amount of fees) http://cheapdslrprofessional.blogspot.com/

i never liked credit cards. well, debit cards are like savings account using a card.means personal account.but with credit card, you are having debt, which means you are like borrowing some money from the bank or like.then after you will pay them what you have borrowed.

If you consume by a debit card, then you need to have the money in your account. If you consume by a credit card, you don't need to have any money in your account. Usually you can return the money for your credit card at least after a month. If you can't pay for all the money, then it will charge you some interest and this can be understanding. This is why I like to use credit card. Besides, the bank will give me some presents according to my consuming. I love China

If you are an impulsive buyer like me, stick with a debit card. I've seen how credit cards have destroyed my parents' financial health over the years. Even now, when I can afford it, I do not allow myself the luxury of a credit card. It's too much temptation for me!

I Prefer to use Debit cards than credit cards :D Using debit cards will help you save money ... Using credit cards help you to spend and spend and spend. Because you won't notice that you already buying lots of things even if you don't need them because you are depending on your credit cards. It will drown you into debt.

A credit card is one which can be used to purchase when you dont have money and have to repay it at the end of every month with small interest rates depending upon the banks providing it. A debit card is one which can be used only if you have enough money in your bank account. A credit card leads to debt but debit card urges us to go for credit card:-D

the difference between both is that Credit Card Mean to Lend money for a period of time with the interest rate .And Debit card mean this card only contains your own money tin the particular bank

Hi kyle2krystel, Most debit cards have a Mastercard or Visa symbol in the bottom right corner of the card. This means that you can use it as either credit or debit. If you run it as a debit, you have to type in your pin# and it comes out of your account almost instantly. If you run it as a credit, you sign the slip and it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 days to be deducted from your account. Some banks charge a fee for using one or the other and other banks offer rewards for using it as credit. Using it as a credit will help to build your credit score, I've heard. The best way to know for sure would be to check with your bank. A regular credit card does not withdraw each transaction from your bank account. Rather, they give you a spending limit and you pay a certain amount back each month plus interest. IT is more like borrowing money.

credit card is use for paying something form the word credit. you have a credit on what type of shop you used it. the debit card is also used by paying something but you just need to have a balance in your debit card to purchased something.

I use my debit card with paypal. Got verified my account with it. And I have no problems at all. It is really easy to use especially if you have online banking. If you have CVV2 at the back of your card, there is no reason you can't link your debit card with paypal. Good luck ;)

Hi Kyle, don't be scared ^^ Just be conscious of your usage. Better yet, you can lower your credit limit to something you can manage with your monthly income. Also, do not ever get two or more credit cards. Just choose one. Have been using my credit card for 5 years or so now. As long as you pay in full every due date, you do not get charged with interest. When you can't pay in full, it's time to check your usage. Great thing about a credit card is their 0% interest offers on selected items you can get through installment. I mean, like if it will take me 10 months to save for a cellphone, I can get that cellphone now and pay the credit card for 10 months with out interest.

heyy!!Debit card is used to withdraw money directly from ur bank account via ATMs or to use it for shopping. U dont hav to pay any charges for using a debit card. In case of credit card, although u can withdraw money from ATMs, shop online or in the market, u hav to pay charges for each and every transaction. Those charges from transaction to transaction and are offcourse different for every bank. I prefer using a debit card mostly, as it is free from any kind of debt. I use credit card only in emergency, when i dont hav sufficient money in my bank account. So i think debit card is the best form of plastic money to use as it wil always keep u free from debt. After all, debt is a bad thing :)

basically a credit card has a larger platfond,it is linked to your bank account,it is accepted everywhere so more international, and so on.. debit card is simplest than credit card:you have a determined platfond,it is accepted not everywhere,it is not linked with your bank account..

When you have a credit card, then you have an specific amount of money that you can "borrow" from a bank, that after you will pay back to your bank with some interests. In the other hand a debit card is a saving account from where you can use any amount of money because is just the money you saved.

Credit card allow you to have sort of line of credit where you can withdraw more than your saving amount. the Debit card, on the other hand, you can withdraw only up to amount you have in your account

The difference between a credit card and a debit card is that a debit card is in an account that already has money deposited and you can use the money that is in there as long as you do not go into negative. With a credit car, you have a credit limit, which a balance that they give you that you can spend. You will have to pay back the balance that you use and they add on the interest rate tto the account. I have a debit and credit card, but I hardly use my credit card. If I do use my credit card, I pay it off as soon as the transaction gets proocessed

There are 2 kinds of cards for the atm machine, one that is just for taking out cash at the machine itself, and another that is used for purchases as wel as taking out or depositing monies into your act. you savings acct is seperate from you checking, but you can in some banks set it up that if you go over what monies are in your checking act they can automaticaly pull money into the checking act from the savings act to cover the over draft, hope this helps
