Will you take part in the "classmates" reunion?

China

The classmates' reunion will be hold in the restaurant or KTV room with cigarette and wine of high-quality and exquisite dishes provided. It is commonplace to spend one or two thousand bucks for one table. Some people collect money, some upstarts money for the great expense. From the perspective of thrifty, it isn't inappropriate for them to binge, which is extravagant and meaningless. What's more, the reunion like this has digressed from the topic of the reunion. It has turned the classmates' reunion into the arena of self-achievement. When did you take part in your classmates' reunion after graduation? How was it going? Did you enjoy yourself? Welcome to talk about it!

it depends on who am i going to meet there.i am not that friendly during my high school or elementary or college days.there are few close friends i got,but when i happen to meet them for like accidents, for sure i will greet them.it's just that i am not too comfortable if it were not my closest friends.i guess if it's more of my closest friends, yes for sure i would go to that reunion.

neulichuang, I am sure like all class reunions there would be an organizing committee who will gather a consensus on how the majority would like to celebrate the occasion and even if it may be a little costly I do not doubt that the class would mind as this is not a frequent event. I wouldn't take this as being spendthrift as I am sure the occasion and experience would simply be worthwhile. Besides, I don't think the organizers would want to short change to what otherwise an enjoyable and memorable occasion. As for my class reunion, we once organized a charity golf event inviting certain pro golfers to appear as invited guest for the occasion and the proceeds collected was for charity. So, you can imagine how much money was involved and put in by each one of us. In occasions like this, I do not think we should be too mindful especially when it is done in a presentable manner, ensuring that everyone has a good time.

I graduated in the early eighties and ever since I have not had much contact with my classmates as we were scattered everywhere in the country. But I do have some contacts with one of my classmates. I don't expect to have such a reunion as I don't think that I am doing any better than any of my classmates. Therefore I am not quite interested in it even if there would be one. I am not sure whether it would be the same as you have mentioned in the discussion that classmates' reunion would be turned into the arena of self-achievement. But I am happy that my own students had a wonderful classmate reunion last month. Take care.

Since I graduated my high school and college, I never went to any reunion even if my ex-class mates did arrange a few. It is because I went further away than they did and now almost all of them are married, having kids, and I'm still not but will be soon. I dunno how it went for them but I did wish that I was there. Have a nice day and take care

We still haven't held a reunion or whatever yet. I wouldn't be too keen on attending it though. I never really liked my classmates. I mean, we got along ok, but truth be told, I was never really ecstatic that they came to be my classmates. There are a handful of classmates I do like thought.

Some of my friends actually do call up for reunion quite a lot of times already. At first, they do invite me but I rejected it everytime. They always held the reunion at places that are dangerous like KTV room or some really dangerous area. So, I decided not to join them at all. Now, they give up calling out for me and their news fade away just like that...

I would love to take part but now I dont have much time and most of my High school friends are from different countries. I gues it would be impossible for all of to have a reunion. For my other schools. I dont keep in touch to all of them since I moved to another country. I wish I can see them. Hopefully, in the future I can get to have a reunion with my old schoolmates. That would be fun!

Well yup!!! we had a reunion after are graduation... but it was held immediately within a month coz after that everyone had lot of commitments like new job, vacation trips,weddingetc..Even then the number turned out to be very less when compared to our class strength.. We met in a restaurant and after which we went to beach...It was really nice to meet after a month's gap... Had fun and enjoyed to the core..

I don't think I enjoy if I am in that situation. Sometime I miss my old class mate, but you right.. what you write gonna be happening, the people will show their money, it isn't inappropriate, only for extravaganza and it is really meaningless. If in that situation may be I will stay cool down and don't wanna show my self to everyone else, annoying situation for me.

The reunion of the whole class is meaningless. When we are students, we are not all familliar with each other, we have only several good friends in the class. Because we do not have much time to communicate with all classmates that we sit in the classroom is first for studying. So the reunion of the whole class means meet with several friends and a group of strangers. But I think we can meet with good friends usually, which can keep our precious friendship.

Several days ago I received the invitation from my classmate, It's a ten-years reunnion, I'm so appericate of it because I missed my classmates ten years, I don't care the environment of it, I just want to meet them and know each other deeply. I think I will enjoy myself, But it's so regret I missed the reunion because of the later information.

My school hasn't yet had a reunion, but I don't foresee myself going when they do. I never really liked the people I went to high school with. I don't even talk to anyone from school anymore so I don't have any reason to go whatsoever.

I am excited for our classmates reunion next year and I will definitely come and take part. The union would be different because it would be the whole batch of 1991. The expenses are subsidized by those well-off and have been successful in life. We may spend in just one night but I think it would be less than a thousand. The last time we had a reunion only 38 batchmates came, though it was successful and everybody were happy.
