Alright. I have two very specific fears. One of them is the Crane Fly. Now, I know very well that they do not bite people. They just fly around and help out with decomposition. I have no idea why, but I am drastically afraid of Mr. Crane, our domestic Crane Fly. I say this now, because there is currently one win the room I'm in. Every day I see at least one Crane Fly, and they scare the noodles out of me!! My second one is a rather unusual phobia. Seat belts. I can't seem to wear them. Moving or not... I just get so afraid and panicky... even physically ill. I fall into panic attacks. Yet I can be held down somehow by other things... it's seat belts alone that I cannot wear. This makes it hard to travel, as I would like to NOT get a ticket, but it's something I can't seem to help. I fear wearing seat belts. I've actually blacked out once just because I was trying to unbuckle myself to "get free" and it was stuck or something, and I panicked, and I blacked out. I woke up in my living room when I was like... maybe 12. All my life I've had a strange seat belt fear. Anyway, there's my story, what's your phobia(s)??

I have an incredible fear of whales. Not sharks mind you, whales. I have no reason to be afraid of them, nothing traumatic has ever happened to me, I'm just terrified of whales. All whales, not even a particular type of whale. I live in a place where whale watching tours are very popular and have been asked to go on one a few times, but I just can not bring myself to do it. I keep thinking the whale will surface underneath the boat and it will tip over.
I am also afraid of the dark and being home alone. I usually keep all the lights on and the doors locked if I am alone at night. I hate driving alone at night or walking alone. I am afraid that someone will break into the house. Again, nothing traumatic has ever happened my mother has just filled my head with stories about young girls being attacked.
I am afraid of bugs, but that's not really a phobia.

Bad incidents in ones childhood can have a bad impact and they continue to haunt you for the rest of your life.i think you should seek an experts help to get over these than to allow them to freak you each and every day.
As of me i fear dogs---i was really afraid of them as a child and i would try to maintain some distance from them despite of being a grown up lol.i wouldnt call it a phobia though just that i can manage to withstand some good and friendly dogs.Strict nope to those insane stray dogs.great day.

I'm claustrophobic.
Just found out about it last summer.
My sister's bed is decorated with a bed net, and I had difficulty in breathing.

Definitely! I am afraid of cockroaches ever since I was a child. Haha! Also, I am a Claustrophobic - I'm afraid of enclosed spaces. I am not scientifically diagnosed with this but I just think so because whenever I am in a crowd with lots of people surrounding, I can't breathe. I don't know it there's a fitting phobia for that but as of now, I can only associate it with Claustrophobia.

Hello! even when im still young, im so afraid with earthworms. I didn't know if there's a term for this kind of great fear. I am so afraid of them that every time i see them, i get to shout out so loud and run as fast as i could so i could hide my self from seeing them. Too sad, i am so in love with gardening and from there, i will surely have much greater chance of seeing them

When i was young i suffered from hydrophobia.
But gradually i have overcome that problem. Now the only fear i have is that what will i do if i loose my hands or legs in a accident or some other way.
I will be disgusted with my life. I am a very atheletic person and it will be a big disaster for me.
I wish it never happens . It will be better to die than to loose my limbs.
