I think most people have, at one time or another. You see some new invention and wonder why you didn't think of it.
I've been thinking about that robot vacuum sweeper. Why couldn't we have a robot lawn mower, or at least a remote control one? Wouldn't that be great? Just sit on the deck and watch your grass get cut. No more fighting with hillsides and akward places...just sit back and relax with a cool drink while the work is done for you

Of course I have, I say it all the time. I just don't think I am one of those practical people that can think outside of the box.
I would like to invent a cheese grater than has an attachment on it to stop all of my grating food from flying all over the place. I think the grater should come with collection boxes on the bottom instead of trying to balance the damned thing on a plate and having it sliding around everywhere. I know something like this is not for everyboy, but I would sure like one.

no pun intended) idea...I could use that, too. And you're right, it is hard to keep it on the plate, then everything gets pushed off onto the counter. I would love to have something like you described.
