Embolding Through Injustice

I don't suppose anyone besides myself sees a connection between the DOJ dropping the case (WHICH WAS ALREADY WON) against the Black Panther thugs who threatened, intimidated, and denied Phila. voters their right to vote, and the Fox news report in which NBPP Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz threatens Christian Adams, Glenn Beck, Michael Steele, the tea party, and others telling them they have no right of assembly in DC on the 28th of August at the Lincoln Memorial. He says the BP's are going to be there and are "ready to go". It's just not enough for O and his minions to embolden our foreign enemies, but in order to attack America and foment a civil war in a house divided, he emboldens our domestic enemies, by allowing criminals to go unpunished. How much more will Americans let him do to make wrong right and right wrong? Why will Americans not form a UNITED coalition of those who stand for our laws and constitution and demand this wrongful usurper and his minions be removed and jailed? Why do we let those among us who tell the truth and stand for justice stand alone and be threatened and hung out to dry?

"...NBPP Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz threatens Christian Adams, Glenn Beck, Michael Steele, the tea party, & others telling them they have no right of assembly in DC on the 28th of August at the Lincoln Memorial." Ooookaaaayyy...this is the kind of thing my perverse nature just finds irresistible. If for no other reason, I'd show up just to point & snicker! Never tell me I have no "right" to show up in an open, public place; it would guarantee my presence, were I rich & well enough to travel! Do you know whether the police plan to bust any of these bozos if they attack people? I mean, isn't inciting a riot illegal? Not to mention that dratted old Constitution, which says God promises us we have the right to peacefully assemble. You know, the more I look at these hate-saturated NBPs, the more I see tem as just a black version of the Kook Klucks Klan. Maggiepie "Life is hard. It's harder if you're stupid." ~ John Wayne

Believe me, Maggie, if I still lived in Maryland I would definitely be there just to watch these losers put on their little show. To answer your question, this is how it works in D.C. If you have a permit to assemble, which I'm sure the organizers of the August 28th. event have secured, you are guaranteed your right to peacefully assemble. The Capitol Police and the U.S. Park Police do not tolerate other groups starting crap with groups who have a legitimate reason to be there. The NBPP members will be instructed to leave the area and, if they don't, they will be arrested. If they start any trouble whatsoever they will be arrested. This would definitely be a case of doing more than standing around holding billy clubs in their hands and the DOJ won't be able to get them off. I agree, they are a black version of the Klan.

Epicure, this is an important parallel. Remember the youtube video that was posted here showing members of Code Pink being arrested for, according to them, exercising their right to Freedom of Speech at a demonstration in D.C.? What they were really arrested for was refusing to move from the location they were at, which was not part of the demonstration permit area. The demonstration in August will be legal, with permits that indicate start & end times and location(s). The NBPP cannot legally obtain a permit for the same location(s) during the same time period so, if they show up, they will be in violation of the law in that city. The Metro and/or Park Police will treat them in exactly the same way because their job is to maintain order and safety. Just being there will put them at odds with law enforcement because they have publicly stated their intent to disrupt the event. In the case of Code Pink, law enforcement was viewed as the bad guys for enforcing D.C.'s laws but they will not be viewed in the same way if they have to do the same exact thing to the NBBP members...and they will.

Maggie, Thanks for your response. Did you see the Fox News report? I love your humor and the John Wayne quote! Spalladino, I sure hope you're right about police protection in DC.

It doesn't surprise me they were harassing a white person and this was their way to make sure that Obama got in.....Besides they think they are just getting back at the white man for all the years they were held back..... Do you really think these thugs are going to stay away the the polls.....Why was the police their to arrest them....They didn't want to cause a riot......They want equal rights but they don't want other people to have them........ Our forfathers must be rolling over in their graves because of what they are doing..

Because we are a lazy nation. Sad but true. I looked up the issue, couldnt find it on Fox, but the things spewing from NBPP is scary. Did you realize that "their" people are dying out for lack of jobs? that these "rich people" are taking our country back to 1963? That they are hyjacking Dr King's dream? I think I missed that dream, because Dr King did NOT encourage violence or threats. If these idiots would step back for a minute, stop acting like animals, then they wont be treated as such.

Did you know that several members of the original Black Panthers have spoken out recently against the NBPP? Maybe some of them will be there, too. It will be interesting to see how things play out...the U.S. Capitol Police are ready to go, too, and if they do anything more than stand around, the DOJ won't be able to get them off.

Wow, I didn't hear about that. You know, it's pretty sad that members of the original BPP would speak out, yet the NAACP does not. In fact, the NAACP is more concerned with making unfounded accusations of racism against the Tea Parties rather than addressing the actions of the NBPP which are far more damaging to black people in this country.
