Can you tell what's the difference between LOVE and LIKE?

You can tell if it's like if you look at the person and you are attracted since she/he wears good dress and looks good. And if you really love the person even at the worst, if she or he looks so bad you will still have the way to look at that person in the best way.

Those words are actually some times inter changed or even at times mistaken to be similar, but they are not the same. I have this quote which I think certainly describe their difference. If you look into the eyes of someone you like, you blush; If you look into the eyes of someone you love, you smile; In front of the person you like, you tend to get shy But in front of the person you love, you tend to show your own self You cannot look straight into the eyes of someone you like But you can always smile into the eyes of someone you love; When the one you love is crying, You cry with him/her But when the one you like is crying, You end up comforting. Hence, love is more unconditional and voluntary while like is skin deep feeling.

Well.. "Love" is a genuine feeling and ready to sacrifice anything for anyone in his/her whole heart, whereas "Like" is just a begining of friendship where he/she likes others activities or get impressed of them.

"I like that people" means he/she share common interests with me or I'd like to make friends with him/her.But love is more than that.It is a holy expression,which means you have crush on sb and want to get right into the very relationship.That is only my point of view.

like is less profound than love^^ love is a feeling more strong^^ i liked guys before and we feel like that person is important for us but when we love someone we see that what we fell for those guys are nothing compared to what we feel when we really love someone. when we love someone we get hurt very easy, we feel more insecure, we feel like our life without that person is not the same like is missing something^^ anyway for me this is the big difference^^ love is more profound than like^^

Well, Love for me is ultimate and the real thing, but Like is conditional, though we can relate it in Love but it will some fly because it only depends on the physical aspect while the other on the inner part

when you tell people you "like" him/her, it only means you "like" "What" he/she is. On the other hand, "Love" means you accept him/her for what he/she is, wether you like that traits of him or not. That's what love is for me..
