I was a small child when my mother took me to the library for the first time, and I loved looking at the picture books and pickíng out the ones I wanted to my father to read aloud to me. When I got older I learned to read and I started reading my own books. Today I am 33 and I still love to read. I often visit the library and I borrow lots of books. Reading is still one of my faovurite hobbies. Writing is another hobby that I have had for about 20 years and I don't think that I will ever get tired of that. Do you often change your hobbies? Do you have any hobbies that you have had ever since your childhood? What do you like about that hobby?

Well I was into reading Mills and Boons pocketbooks when I was in College. My sister loved to read also and we would scrimpt to buy books to read. I donated some of these to my nieces and some charity and library. Now I have graduated to various authors & one of my favorites was the late Sidney Sheldon I have a collection of his books. I also go for Kay Hooper, Iris JOhansen, Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey. I also have read the complete books on Harry Potter. I cannot get away with reading because I feel I am one with the book I am reading. You tend to sharpen your imagination when you are reading. Its such a shame that children are no longer into reading because of the computer. All researches were done thru a computer and thru a book anymore.

Yes, a lot of things have changed and many people tend to use the computer instead of books when they are looking for information. I grew up in a time without internet, and books were my source of entertainment and knowledge. I have a collection of books in my home and I often donate books to charity or give them away to friends or family.

It is great that you are able to make money from your hobbies. I also like arts and crafts. I like to draw, paint, make my own cards or make decoupage boxes. I also visit the library very often. The big library is not close to my home, but I still like to go there, because they have a lot of interesting books to choose from

I like to read books too. I used to buy old books at thrift stores and used book stores to read. It really is a great way to pass the time and improve my reading and writing skills. I live close to a public library and they always have a nice selection of books that I can read. I just like to visit it a lot and read the books and borrow the ones I want to read later.

I also buy used books sometimes, there are many second hand shops in the area where I live and some of them have a nice selection of used books. I also use the library a lot, it is a great way to read many different kinds of books. If I had to buy all of the books that I am interested in reading it would get too expensive, so it is nice that I can use the library instead.

My brother liked to do the same thing when he was a child, but my father wouldn't let him do it. He was probably afraid that my brother wouldn't be able to assemble the electronic things again and that the things would stop working.

Reading is a pretty good hobby. I like reading too. I started reading literal books since I was 5-6 years old, and couldn't stop till now. But I don't like picture books. I also don't write anything because of lacking of inspiration and creativity.

I also started reading books when I was very young. I wasn't able to read at that time, but I loved looking at the pictures. I remember the visits at the library when I was a child. It was many years ago and at that time, we were able to borrow cassette tapes and records in addition to books. Some of the records that I borrowed were songs for children and some of them were stories. My favourite story was "Treasure island".
