Is it wrong to be easily available?

I think it is wrong to be available easily, some just don't care when you are easily available to them. But if you just ignore them, then they would chase you and care you.
In my life I have found so many people like that, if your help is easily available to them, then they just don't care. But when you are not there to help them, then they would realize how much you are important to them.
From my experience, I can say that never be easily available. There's no importance of something which is easily available. What you say?
