What to Expect on My First Flight?

I am going on a business trip in a couple of weeks, and I am going to fly for the first time. So, basically, I have no idea what to expect. I have read different websites, but everyone seems to have different experiences. Some hate, some love it and some have no reactions. I am kinda nervous, as I am very clostorphobic. I am a little excited, though, too. What are some common side effects that you guys get? Is there anything I should expect (I don't want to make a fool of myself over something completely normal ;)?

If you flight will cover about 16 to 20 hours flight be prepare to sleep at airplane and before boarding the flight you must eat full because I had my first experienced that airplane stewards will give your meal a little late that I was terribly hungry on my first flight . Don't mine that you are airborne just feel that you just in a bus, there will be some air turbulence which is a bit scary sorry but you have to expect this air turbulence stuff.

It is about a 5 hour flight, so it shouldn't be too bad. I was reading about the air turbulance, and I think that is going to the hardest part for me ;) No matter how much I prepare for it, I don't think I will be able to stay calm when it actually happens (I am not going to go crazy on the plane, though haha).

that's gonna be exciting but tiring because of the flight hours. hope you will enjoy your first flight. =)

First flight, nervous! I am an acrophobia.
I was very excited for my first flight. It was January and the weather is good. January 20, 2009, we are going to Boracay with my husband and son. On the plane, as the machine started, my heart also started to beat faster. As the plane started to fly, I didn't notice that I am already holding my son's arms tightly. But flying only takes about an hour.
But it was a great flight :)
