Which one better Sony NEX-5 or Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1

Very different cameras. The GH1 is more like a traditional DSLR ( but smaller) that has great video video and good stills. I like he camera a lot for people who do a lot video production but need to take high quality stills as well. The Nex 3 is a super portable mirroless camera. While it looks strange with he larger zoom lenses on it, it is about as big as yor average super zoom camera. Infact if you put the pancake lens on it, it is practically the same size as many point and shoot cameras. Image quality is very good and the video is good. It is a camera for people who want something better than a point and shoot but don't want a DSLR. Which will take the better photos?. Hmmm for me, I would say the GH1 but that is because I am more used to its tradition control layout. The Nex 3 though has very impressive photo quality. Which would I get. I would get the Nex but use the pancake lens so it could be as portable as possible. It would like getting a DSLR in my pocket. http://cheapdslrprofessional.blogspot.com/

i'd go for SONY NEX5 - it's a better choice, considering the brand, resolution and functionality :)
