Phone rings

Depends on what I'm doing and how busy I am. I have to make it in seven to beat the answering service :)

1-3.. if possible i wont answer it.

if my baby sleeps and the phone rings.i wont even allow a single ring.But if it rings in the other time then i will allow for 3 -5 rings.

I let my phone ring 4 times before I decide to pick it up or not, thats why I have an answering machine,to answer for me

well, i answer it when i hear it and actually get to my phone. usually its somewhere in my purse, so it takes a while to answer it..and im so stupid too. my new phone has ignore on the left and answer on the right, but my old phone was the opposite...so im always accidentally pressing ignore when people call!!

i never answer my home phone, i let the answering machine pick up. I have different ring tones for my friends and family.. so i know who is calling before looking for the phone. Usually i pick up after the first ring if it is in front of me.. but most of the time i have to call back because I can't find it until the 4th ring... lol

Usually its twice that is rings. I am normally right around one of the phones. I think the answering machine picks up after 5.

I am very anal about the phone rining. I have to get to it as soon as it rings and answer it. Even if I dont want to talk to the person I will answer it just incase its a emergancy or something. One of the things that annoy me is letting the phone ring off the hook. It gets on my nerves so bad. Just answer it please lol.

It depends on where I am in relation to the phone when it rings plus whether or not I am expecting a call. There is no specific number of rings before I answer, and now that I have disconnected the answering machine, it doesn't really matter. If the person who phones is important in my life, then they have my mobile number so they can always call me on that if it is urgent. If they don't have my mobile number, then they aren't someone of significance in my life, so they can call back if they really want to talk to me. LOL

depends. My cell I check the number and see if I want to pick it up. Home phone I let the answering machine pick up...to many sales calls! ugg. How long does it take me to get to the phone also depends on where in the room or house or car or where ever my phone is!

This question is very interesting. It is worth thinking of it.:)well. I think I will answer two untless I am busy. I really don't know the reason
