Last week, my cat was sleeping on the floor near me while I was responding to discussions here on mylot. After about an hour or more, he was awakened a I noticed his tail and his leg that was lying on the floor was wet too. I didn't know how he got wet...Did he pee?

In normal case it should not happen like that. Becasue, especially in the case of cats, (in my experience), at times they feel to do so, they will go out of the place and make a small pit (dig the plain earth/sand) and pee there afterwards cover the pee with sand. At whatever circumstances cas do like this.
Either your cat may not keep well or it might have seen some dream of about something which casue to do so. Because I know that some children pee at nigh on bed and some time used to say that I felt that I was doing it at the toilet. In fact it might caused due the dream while they were in sleep.
In your cat's case, mostly it is because of cats physical condition was not well. Is it so?

Thank-s

lmao People can pee when they're asleep, so why not a cat? There could be many reasons; infected bladder, bad dieting, laziness... He probably had a nightmare... or prostate cancer???
I hate cats.

Cats don't normally pee in their sleep. If you cat did so, it is definitely time to take your cat to the vet. If your cat is litterbox trained and is not going in the litterbox that indicates a problem with the kitty either mentally (stressed out kitty due to new circumstances in the home) or physical problems (kitty could be sick) please take your kitty to the vet. Hope he is okay.

maybe she's not feeling well or did you play her? maybe she's tired... lol... actually, i have never seen a cat peeing in my entire life....it would also be better if you bring her to the nearest vet there in your place.... good luck and may your cat get well if she's sick or something.....

You may need to take your little friend to the vet. He/she may have something wrong that causes them to potty like that. If he/she was sleeping and didn't even get up to try to get to the litterbox, something may be wrong physically.
I hope your little furball is ok!
