New Canibis Based Medication Approved in the UK for MS

Sativex, a cannabis based oral spray, has just been approved in the UK to treat some of the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. Do you think that this new medication might pave the way for more marijuana legislation in the US?

If it is the same cannabis in George Michael jailed for eight weeks http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11299938 then perhaps there will be lots of cannabis abuse leading to untoward incidents such as George Michael "crashing his Range Rover into a shop." What do you think ?
