The questions "where" and "when" are the best start to planning travel. We love to visit other places and spent vacation happily. It is usually planned and together agreed by the family, nevertheless you can still find option to go alone by yourself to make it more different and astonishing one. The best place most people used to visit as I observe is Europe, and here they fantasizing such uncommon cities like: Italy, Paris, Rome, Switzerland, UK, Spain and Germany. I really find these places so attention-grabbing. These places speak a lot regarding the culture, ancient civilizations, technology, architecture & designs, people & politics, music, fashion, finances and of course the captivating standpoint these cities could ever give to tourists. I love spending vacation... this is spectacular means of stress relief. This is the immediate flee from long and tiring work and day to day pressure, tension, and even anxiety. In the deepest sense of travel, people go to spend with family or friends at a certain place like they never reach in their entire life... considered as an adventure gateway as it would always be. How do you plan yourself to make travel an interesting one? Would it be with your family or by yourself?

For the moment our travel plans are, with exception of finance, very much dependant on the health of my partner's mother.
Luckily I have travelled to most of Europe when younger, but would relish the opportunity to revisit as an adult. I hope that you soon get the chance to make some plans for yourself.

That are the reasons we count for evading ourselves in indulging to travel. We have to prepare ourselves in doing this so it wouldn't give hamper to personal commitment and responsibilities, like for instance you got your mother in law's health issue so you need to do prioritizing her welfare rather than to spend time in traveling. You're excellent son in law, I can say that's wonderful strategy of balanced and fair decision in life.

I always travel with someone (friend or relative). Like you, it is definitely a stress reliever for me. I want to see most of the world. I'm really glad that there are lots of airbus now that is easy on the budget. I haven't been to Europe since it will be very costly, hopefully I get the chance and the money to visit it in the future. We make a trip an interesting one by making a DIY (do-it-yourself) trip. I love to read forums and blogs and list down interesting places and how to get there. It saves us some money rather than paying for a package tour and also it is better since we are the ones managing our time and deciding where and how long to stay there.

Good perception! Travel is always fantastic if its done in a perfect time, enough money in the pocket, and with wonderful friends around, I feel you're secured to do so... you think saving money now and then, this is my advice so you'll get your plan to travel absolutely worry free someday. As I noticed, you're well motivated of reading forums and blogs, this is appropriate to capture travel more better than any planned travel that others used to do.

According to when it depends on the weather. For example I have just come home from my visit to Canada. That is a country that I chose the summer to go to. I think it would be lovely to go there in spring or autumn. I know it would be too cold for me there in winter. Last year I visited South Africa. I explored Cape Town and the Garden Route in the January. So that was summer in South Africa but winter in my home country. For going to Southern Europe I like May to September for the warmth. For Australia and New Zealand like Sydney or Auckland I choose December to February, which is summer. I went around the world for over one year. It was impossible for me to go to everywhere at the right time. I visited California in the winter. Worst of all I went to Darwin in the wet season. California would be nicer in the summer and Darwin would be better in the dry season. These days I travel with my disabled toddler son and baby daughter. I travel in a way that is suitable for my young children. In my younger days I enjoyed traveling on my own. I liked staying in unusual accommodation like a tree house in Belize. I loved going snorkeling to see coral reefs.

I love to travel. Sometiems I plan vacations, check aitfares and seek someine to go with me. Other times, travels just happen in some way for different reasons. My last vacations were in my country. I did not plan them that way at the beginning but my shoulder surgery made imposible to travel too far. Four people got together to go to the south but then came an earthquake and 2 of my companions had to stay at home repairing their house.
Now I´m planning a very unexpensive 1 week vacation in the north of my country. We will see if it works. It is unexpensive because the government has special plans for seniors during the low season. A couple of friends want togo, they have invited me but I would have to find a room mate as I don´t want to sleep with an unknown person.
It´s an idea meanwhile!

Oh wonderful plan, it's such a wise decision to spend it in lined with your expense's capability. You should make budgeting on expenditures before doing so... it will help you to find out which place to travel has to meet your requirements on money matters. budgeting is also the top aspect of traveling. If your pocket has a limited access so why not save more at the given time you'll also meet your most dreamed travel ever...

Actually, going out there seeing the world is my ultimate dream. Sadly to say, I would rather go with my parents to somewhere like China to see the antique buildings or the museum. But for the real fun, I would rather go with a couple of good friends. That is my goal.

Wonderful planning... I also like to explore Asian continent but still my preference it must be Europe first and foremost. Hope your goal be attained someday... keep on striving hard to reach it. Goodluck kingparker!

I travel with my loved ones often. And, to enjoy a great deal of discounts on airfare and hotel accommodations, we act on our travel plans (from flight reservation, hotel accommodation, to sightseeing activities) several months earlier. I have traveled alone before but those were all work related trips and I did not find it exciting at all.

I agree with you! If you have to go for some fun, then the exciting answer is traveling, but it is practically done with somebody to go and spend it with your special someone, it might also with the group so you'll find more fun out of traveling.
