both my cellphones right now have actual keyboards, so i guess i prefer regular ones based on this. i would like to have a touchscreen phone though but i'm still saving up for it. back in college, i used a touchscreen phone for a while. it was a pda phone, and back then, touchscreen phones were really big deal. although it was the type where you have to use a stylus. so it was really hard using it. after a few weeks, i gave it back to my aunt. it was really hers, but she swapped with me because she found it hard to use. i guess touchscreen phones now are easier to use than touchscreen phones from a few years back. so i would like to have one, a touchscreen phone, i mean. preferably an iphone. :)

I have used both keyboards, and there are pros and cons for both. I do think though that in some ways the actual keyboard is probably more popular than the touch keyboard. The phone I have now is a touch screen, and the keyboard is touch screen. It can be a little tricky sometimes, but I have had it long enough to get used to it now. Mine is a special keyboard where I use my stylus to use the letters on the keyboard. I just swipe from one key to the next to form the owrds, and life my stylus at the end of the word. It will automatically space for me, so I don't have to do that. I do, however use the space when I end a sentence. It is the coolest feature on the phone, but I don't use it all tha tmuch. I have only used it when I posted in here from it, and it really does a pretty good job, even though the screen smaller. I prefer to use my computer though as it is easier. I only use my keyboard when I don't have access to my laptop. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I prefer typing using the onscreen keyboard. I simply don't prefer the hard keyboard. I can actually type way faster in a software keyboard than on the real "qwerty" keyboard when using smartphones but when it comes to a larger one like a tablet I can't type that fast compared to the keyboard of a PC. But after all of these I am wondering if what new technologies that would enhance the typing input. Maybe a voice recognition or maybe just something else.
