I graduated last April of 2009 and got my first job after 2 weeks. The pay was good but the people there are irritating that I get demotivated to work. So last month I quit my job after 1yr without any notice and was tag as AWOL.So now I'm looking for a new job and I'm confused if I put my past experience on my resume or should I just have a fresh start because I fear any employer may not accept me since I have a bad record.

If your next company decides to do a background check it will come up so you should be truthful about it. Make a note as to why you left. the reasons would not be on the back ground check. honesty is always best. Goodluck to you.

You shouldn't include it. Though some companies will not ask for a certificate of employment from the company you're worked before, they might, especially if it was your first job. So unless you want to risk it, you could include it. Hehe. I think next time, you should practice professionalism and leave your work properly. Not only will this reflect on your future jobs, it would also help in improving your work ethics which is the most important trait every company is looking for. =)
