Do you think the "Islam" Rule the World? :-s

I am Muslim and I can tell you that majority of what you hearing about Islam has more to do with some evil Muslims who twist the words of Quran just to justify that their way is the right way. The term having more than one wife is twisted by the scholars. In my country, though Muslim does not see having two wives in normal light. This even got into me. I stayed 8 years in Middle East where I saw many men not only having wives but also mistresses. Since I could not speak Arabic I could not ask them the reasons behind it. But later when I moved to United States I saw more Muslim men here trying to justify that having multiple wives means they are helping the world as well as supporting the women financially just as you mentioned here. Shockingly, this statement of justification actually came from Muslim scholars. I wasn't convinced by it. So I did my own research which led me to the truth. I noticed that God actually gave them condition. In pre-Islamic time, people had many many wives. It was a usual thing. In Quran, I read that God told marry "women" if you feel you can be just to each one of them. But if you can't then have only one wife. This will keep the husband in the righteous path. I critically thought about it and found out that God told that a person can have multiple women only if he can equally love each one of them. But if there is imbalance then basically that man is doing a sin. So all those who are thinking that they are doing a justice to the society by having multiple wives are actually doing a horrible sin (taking them away from the righteous path). Why I say that? Because no man in this world can actually love two people at the same time equally. In love there is always partiality. When God talks of justice he means equal love. And he has actually challenged Muslims here by saying "you cannot love two people at the same time equally. So have only one woman in your life". The funny thing is that the so-called Islamic scholars either do not understand the verse or simply have multiple women in their lives which they are trying to hide by twisting the words. As for Jewish people, if God really hated them so much than he wouldn't have allowed Muslims to marry them. He would have straightly said that they are going to hell. But the truth is that it is clearly stated in Quran that both good Jewish and Christians will go to heaven just like Muslims. The resentments you are talking about has more to do with the history. For instance, there is a story in Quran where it says that God asked a specific Jewish group to observe Sabbath on a specific day. But they did not do it and thus they were turned into animals as punishment(monkeys and pigs). However, that group was gone long long time ago...even before Islam came to the world! I suppose God would have done same thing to Muslims if they were in those Jewish people's place. So what I will say is that when God talks negative about Jewish people it has more to do with the evil ones. God does not leave evil Muslims either. Nope, he doesn't. He has resentment towards them as much as he has towards evil Jewish. This is how God is. He does not like bad people! I do not wish to offend anyone, but I would like to say that whatever bad is happening to Muslims today has more to do with some Muslim countries. Because of their sins all Muslims are suffering. Talibans crossed all limits. Some Arabs don't see humans as humans, but animals. They are rude, aggressive and do everything forbidden in Quran. So God punished them by bringing such a time to them that no matter how good they try to be the world does not stop hating them.

Big topic. I hope that you don't get much in the way of backlash, as you are not promoting any viewpoint. Having read Mien Kampf I could waffle endlessly about Hitler's motives. I don't really think that Islam has an issue with the Jews. Post Old Testament, I don't think that the Arabs had that big a beef with the Jews- until Palestine was carved up to form Israel.A move seen as sponsored by the US. Iran is a principle catalyst for this since British/ French/ American support for the Shah. For much of history they have even shared common enemies- Carthage, Rome, Turkey, Britain. Moreover, extremist anti westerners have used Islam as a vehicle to attack the west. This is not a unique phenomenon. The KKK have used Christianity in a similar manner with the black population. Medieval Europe used religion to sponsor the Crusades (probably where the hatred of the west kicked off). The Inquisition had more effect in eliminating rivals to the French and Spanish thrones than purifying the populace. The IRA used Catholic/ Protestant differences to advance their cause. My bottom line is that many will hijack religious arguments to justify/ legitimise their objectives.

Hi Friend... I am a Hindu and from India and here religion is something that people can kill for.. But I strongly agree with you that No One Kills for God!!! And many of them in the new generation think the same way too... About Islam!!! Not every muslim is a fanatic, though 60% of them are... They believe that one day they'll be able to rule the world and convert everyone into Islam, which is of course, most absurd! Their rules (not of Islam but of the followers) are so strict and inhuman that the mass public will never accept it willingly. And I am sure they won't be able to force it upon the WORLD... For now, they rule the media with their news and new releases from Osama etc... They are inhuman, fanatics and a disease to humanity; they should be wiped out to make our life more peaceful... I am talking about only the FANATICS here, of course... I have a few muslim friends who are as normal as everyone else. They don't have fantastic and irrational and impossible ideas of ruling the world etc. They are normal humans who follow their religious practice and expect everyone to be happy... I have nothing against them!!! The Fanatics of any religion should be wiped out... Humanity will be more peaceful after that... :) Happy Lotting!!!

I am of no organized religion and I won't be. I am not an atheist. I just prefer to be open-minded about these things. Do I think Islams rule the world? No..not at all. I don't understand the concept of religious wars and hatred. I know it happens but I can't subscribe to it and I can't agree with it.

Muslims want their religion to rule the world...why do you think their religion tells them to kill anyone who wont convert to Islam...

I have read that in 20 years there will be enough Muslims here in America to have the ability to elect the president, regardless of how non-Muslims vote. A scary thought. Investigate what it would be like to live under Sharia law. It is much worse for women, but also for everyone's individual rights. Forget about having religous freedom under Sharia law. The rise of the Muslims in not propaganda. Italy, France, Britain, has been hugely affectd by Muslim immigration. All other races are not keeping pace with Muslim birth rates. Italy gives tax breaks to Italians to have more children, in an attempt to save their culture and country. Yes the threat is real. We fight to keep our freedoms and to defeat the evil of a religion of tyranny. Ask a Muslim exactly what they have to do to get to their heaven and they cannot give you a specific answer. As a Christian I know exactly what I have to do to be 100% sure that Heaven will be my home, and I can easily present this simple, understandable plan of Salvation to another person. The gift is free but if that person does not accept it, then I will not murder them, or jail them, or persecute them. I thank God that I am not a living in a predominantly Muslim country, because my life would be much different than the way I can live now in freedom.

This I think is for those that are militantly involved in terrorism but I think generally Islam is supposed to be a peace loving religion. The only thing that drives to be aggressively violent which is against their religion already. If you will just talk with the moderate members of their sect they would not tolerate this but since they do not have the capacity to fight and stop this the violent and fanatic fighters of their religion tends to over shadow the whole religion.

I believe that Muslims are trying to make Islam the religion of the world. They have a very tight grip on England now and have incorporated a large part of Sharia Law into English Law. Small local communities in areas of high muslim concentrations are basically run by Sharia Law. Those who are not muslim had best just stay out or face the consequences, especially women. Their Parliment is well represented by Islamic believers too. France is pushing back finally and attempting to stop the rampant spread of muslim takeover. Other Euro. Countries are dealing with terrorists and Islamic influences in whatever way the can. Small towns in our own country are starting to experience the bizarre reallity of Sharia laws being passed without anyone even realizing it. It just happened recently when 4 christians were arrested for reading the bible in public. There are no American laws against this....this is Sharia law. letran I agree whole heartedly with you. I consider myself a Christian too but I do not believe in a vicious God nor do I feel anyone should kill for God. I had friends who worked in the Twins Towers so my feelings about muslims and Islam are full of hate. I know a lot of Muslims living close by were as horrified with the events of 9/11 as we were so this taliban thing is not the religion of the peaceful Muslims I have met. I will not talk long on this as I have only hatred towards the Taliban and their ideas of religion.

Yes,there is no doubt Islam has to enter each house,village,town,city,country and continent one day after second coming of Jesus(pbuh)when whole the world will convert to it after his full support and preaching.He will land in Muslims in Syria to convert and unite all the Believers in one faith and then lead them in a war against the last Antichrist.He will kill him in Israel with his own hands and then create the first IDEAL WORLD STATE on this earth basing on the Holy Quran ,to fill it with peace,prosperity and justice ........This is what will happen in future and we should not worry for it........

Well Islam is a religion, and those who believe in it are called Muslims, i m also a Muslim, lets get to the point, you question is Do You think the " Islam" Rule the world?? but in the explanation you changed the word Islam with Muslims , Islam is a System where no-one is greater that might ALLAH, Killing , lies , cheating is prohibited in Islam, so there is nothing wrong with the religion itself, problem is within the believers, if a Christian kills someone, on one says the Christianity is the reason, then why for Islam? its bcoz in Islam God is the super power, and we only obey him, but in this age Jews have hold on the whole world , they want to rule the Muslims world too, and for this purpose they are eager to do anything, even the 9/11 was planned by the Jews, 2000+ Jews were on job in world trade center , but at 9/11 there were no Jew was present, i don't know why the Christians don't understand , Problem is that Jews wants to be called superpower, but in Islam super power is almighty ALLAH, so its a fight for power more than the religions,
