How old were you when you left home. / myLot

i left home about 5 months ago! i left home about 4yrs ago! i am 34yrs old now! we dont really have that luxury of leaving home unless of course ur getting married. sometimes, even getting married can still live in the confines of our home- our culture. i left home the 4yrs ago when i accepted a job about 2hrs drive away from home- in another city. and then, it was really not enough! i was always demanded to be home on weekends! well, now, i moved to the capital city- an hour air travel, well, i have some of my freedom, but that was just 5months ago!

Thank you for the replies, It is much harder now then it was to leave home. Everything is so expensive now. No one is a failure just because they still live at home. Thank goodness you have a home to be in. Thank your lucky stars.

well, being a failure or not is really not measured thru leaving home. we dont really leave our homes even if we get too successful in our careers. sometimes, when u get rich, u even buy a house and let ur parents live there with u
