I have recently got back home from my trip to Canada. I took my disabled toddler son and baby daughter from London to Vancouver on a plane. I am pleased the airline let us have our double buggy on board. One of the cabin crew carried my disabled son to his seat. I carried my baby daughter. They kindly let us have three seats and then we had a very comfortable flight. When we got to Vancouver we took the Canada Line which is a train. Then we came out of the station and saw the right bus stop to go to West Vancouver.
We took the ferry over from Horse Shoe Bay to Vancouver Island. I couldn't believe how smooth the journey by sea was. My children got to play in a kids room on board. On Vancouver Island we took the Greyhound bus. I needed help to get my son on board. We preferred taking the train although I had a get the buggy folded and ask the conductor to carry my son on board. We took a taxi ride to the ferry port and it ended up costing more than the ferry. The ferry took us back to the mainland. We spent a couple of days in Powell River. Then we traveled on an usual bus journey which involved two ferry trips.
When you have arrived at an airport has it been easy to reach the city center?
Which forms of transport did you get to take on your last trip?
Do you prefer to travel by train or bus if there is a choice?

I prefer to travel by train because there is a chance that i would always meet someone i know as the trains here are quite spread out a lot. I love to just have the wind blowing at my face. Bus sometimes due to lack of space i have to stand but it is not so while in the case of the train. I always manage to go on a train and have fun with whomever i meet.
