Evening Snacks- A threat to the diet!

If one is on a diet they face a lot of challenges in self-control. There is counting calories at meals, a daily work out, and avoiding snacks which are the biggest dilemmas. One is usually hungry and tends to eat fatty foods instead of low fat and nutritious. Sitting in front of the television is really dangerous at times as our hands tend to move towards the refrigerator. Although many people regret it later one cannot usually stop himself. One should avoid tv at night and instead hangout or maybe read a book or just listen to your favorite music. If you really want to watch tv then keep your hands busy in something maybe writing or knitting or even something more. Chores can done at times or you can just lift some weights. Instead of high fat foods one can prefer to have coffee or water at times. Chewing gum is also a good remedy. Brush your teeth so that the minty taste will make the food less appetizing. If you are really hungry go for fresh fruits and juices as they cover up for the fat that comes from most other foods. Good day!

It's hard to diet. Ive failed lots of times. Due to my schedule at work so I cant help but eat late at night when I feel hungry. I do drink coffee and water to keep me full too. It helps.

Ah I've never worried about that whole "diet" thing. I have the unfortunate ability to eat loads of junk food and not put on any weight. I'm almost positive my arteries are all clogged with junk though, and once I hit about 30 I expect to inflate like a balloon. My snacks are usually fat free popcorn or an apple though, so tis all good. ^_^
