I know that being lazy would not lead me somewhere. But I can't help it, most of the time I feel so lazy and lethargic. I don't know how to overcome this laziness and how to overcome it. How about you how do you deal with laziness?

Laziness is actually a good thing in this hectic world and I think more people need to learn how to be good at being lazy.
I am very lazy. I may be the best lazy-bum in the world, I don't know, but I think I'm very close to being the best. I think it is a great thing to try and do as little as you possibly can. If there is something to do, forget it and take a nap. Do you have a list of chores? Rip it up. Do people call you lazy? Tell them 'thank you very much! I try to be!'
Now if you want to be lazy like me you have to do a few things.
1. Don't get out of bed in the morning until you get hungry. Then get up and eat something.
2. Go back to bed until lunch.
3. Don't open your eyes unless you have to. This is an effort you can do without most of the time. It's work to open your eyes you know. So why not just open one eye at a time, and that way the other eye can rest.
4. Don't every get out of your pajamas unless you have to. Pajamas are the 'uniform' for lazy people as you may already know. So wear yours all day if you can and that way nobody will even think of asking you to do something. They will jsut think 'o he is in his p.j's and he won't do it, so why ask him?'
Get the idea?
I think lazy people have rights just like all those ambitious sods that think they are superior to us bums. They should stop discriminating against us. They should in fact appreciate us. Because we can do what they cannot do.
We can do nothing. :)

Yup, we are all lazy people, we love procrastinate, we find comfort in sleeping, we idle away time as though it were useless commodity and we have all built our personal utopias where we do everything except work.
Actually, there are some ways to beat laziness and reclaim the lost inspiration.
First of all, do something that you dont like. If u dont feel like reading, read a book then. If you don feel like writing, write something. In short, action is the best motivation. The only thing that stops us from getting sucked into a task is not doing it, so do it now
Likewise, if you try to do everything together, you lost motivation to do anything at all. Therefore, it's best to split a bigger task into smaller ones and concentrate on only one part at a time.
When being lazy, we are often attracted to the distractions. Bloggers are found browsing other blogs when they are supposed to be writing theirs, and students are found watching tv when they should be studying. These are all distractions that serve no good purpose. If you remove the distractions, for example, by disconnecting from internet, and by locking the tv room, you will notice that it becomes easier to get back to the work.

It's a funny thing how it works. The more you do; the more you can do. The less you do; the less you want to do. Start by finding a project that you really want to do. Get with it. Soon you will feel like doing more. Oh, one last thing. Make sure you are eating healthy. Bad nutrition can make you lazy.

You need to motivate yourself. If nothing motivates you right now, you need to try to find things that can motivate you. If you do not know exactly why you are doing stuff and getting up... it is hard to do it. If you know you do it for a very good reason (for you), it becomes much easier, believe me!

I don't claim to be an expert in overcoming laziness. But I do a couple of things to overcome it and being an extremely lazy person, I've managed to overcome laziness because of these for a decent number of times. First, in every task, I try to find what my goal really is. In doing an assignment for example, what would be my goal? Is it just to finish my assignment? Of course I would want good grades for it. So my goal is to get good grades for my assignment. Next thing I think about is what do I get from it? Good grades of course. Then I ask myself, how do I get what I want? Can I acquire it by just lying on my bed doing nothing? Then I plan on how I would do it, all the while thinking of my goal and how I would benefit from my goal. =) Those are the things I do to overcome laziness.
