anime actually means japanese animation and manga means japanese comics. but they are totally different from american comics which are just for kids. the most popular manga are naruto ,bleach and one piece. i used to watch nauto in t.v but in t.v they used to stop between seasons and used to play next seasons after very long time and then he even stopped playing naruto at all. i was sad then i started watching it online this last summer and finished all naruto episodes(so far released)in one month then out of curiosity went on to read manga and finished manga in 2 more days.now i read a newly released manga every thursday. after finishing naruto i wanted to watch bleach so i went on watching bleach and finished 264 episodes of bleach so far. so, as i asked do you watch anime or read manga? :D

I like to do both, watch anime and read manga, although really in reading the anime aswell considering im not fluent in japanese (yet) it does help in my learning of speaking japanese aswell which is a big reason why i like to watch the anime. I dont read that much manga, i just feel like i cant follow it very well, and considerin the time you have to wait inbetween each comic to be put into english, i'd rather watgch the anime.

i prefer to read manga because there are come up with the latest episode than in anime.plus there are some changer made by the production and they are not follow thoroughly with the original manga.so i prefr manga more than anime.

Hello! I think that I am the biggest fan of Naruto. I like to see both the anime and the manga. Here is the reasons - Manga:- I can spend some of my most boring times by reading some very cool and excitement about Naruto. So, manga is surely great for time pass. I know the highest information of Naruto from manga. Anime:- I like moving characters more than reading one and imagining one though, So, surely anime is much better than manga. But, still I don't use to get enough information from this. So, for enjoyment I prefer anime and for information I prefer manga. Happy mylotting!

I've never really liked anime and so I tend to avoid it, I don't know why I just don't care for it. I guess each culture has their own likes and dislikes. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I do enjoy watching some Anime shows when they are on t.v. like Pokemon and yugioh. I have a hard time reading the Anime books because you have to read them backwards and in a certain way. Since I am from North America I would find it very difficult because I am used to reading the books the way they are here. I like to watch the Anime shows dubbed in English but my friends like to watch it in Japanese with English subtitles.

I love reading Manga online and watching Anime too. I mainly read those you have mentioned except for bleach. I want to read bleach too but I'm afraid I have many more catching up to do to the series. I wasn't able to catch up very fast with one piece when I started reading and watching it. Naruto and One Piece is getting better and better every week. I really love reading it!

i havent got up to one piece yet perhaps after i catch up with bleach. :D and its true as u said naruto is getting incredibly interesting every week. cant they release 20 chapters at once? .
12 Jul 10
I love to watch anime and to read manga, but I watch more than reading because it is more entertaining for me to see characters in motion. I also watch naruto, bleach and one piece and other anime like full metal alchemist, full metal panic, shakugan no shana, burst angel, kiddie grade, witch blade (japanese version), hagime no ippo etc. in t.v. And I agree that anime and manga is better than american comics.

I read the manga first before I watch the anime version. I both enjoy it. I enjoy the manga's deep story sense, and I enjoy the hilarious comedy anime is adding in to it. Plus, if anime leaves you hanging with an episode you can always read the manga. ^.^ Anime's and Manga's are really quite addicting. I have downloaded a few titles on manga but I haven't read them yet because it's not yet complete. I love reading manga from start to finish. That's why even though I super love naruto, bleach and one piece.. I still don't read them yet. weird huh? ^.^

Watching anime makes my life complete especially if it's naruto. Every friday, I always make it a habit to watch naruto in the internet. I aslo read manga series so that i'm updated what would happen in the series. I even buy DVDs of naruto so that I can watch it ver and over again.

Im British but actualy life in Japan. I actually prefer to read mangas like a lot of other Japanese. I think the most popular is JUMP here in Japan - it has around 30 different stories comics in one (including Naruto). You see people standing and reading "Tachiyomi" at the convenience stores. My favourite used to be "Kochi kame", I used to read them to learn Japanese, but now i've been here for 10 years (fluent in the language) I've gone back to plain english novels. But I definately prefer Manga to Anime. Btw - the English versions are so soft in dialogue compared to the original Japanese versions!!! - not accurate translations often.
