My husband and I met through internet chatting. But I wasn't looking for a relationship. We just became friends through the internet, and in real life. So yeah, I could say it could lead to love. Sometimes, it's even better because you get to meet with lots of people and you'll never know, you'd get to meet your partner there.

Nice to know that you got your partner through internet chatting as there are only a few who get introduced through net and then get settled in life isn't it? by talking daily in the internet one tends to understand the other person as you did here and as you said here, slowly friendship turns into love with few people. But in most of the youngsters, this internet chatting is just excitement and fun

For me I would have to say no. However I will admit many men in the past have come onto me, some women to. However none of it was really love. More its the idea of being in love. That is not the same thing in my opinion. How much can the web say about a person? Online people can say just about anything It is up to the one reading thos messages to make the judgment on weather or not it can actually be called "love". If you are going to make a relationship with someone it has to be more than words passed through a wire. It has to be a lot more. Love requires a lot of elements. You have to make a human connection with another human being in order to honestly say that it's "love." Otherwise, what is it really? Nothing. the idea of wanting to feel loved without the physical contact.

This could be true, it actually depends on the both of you but it could happen. I had a fling with another person overseas. It was fun and you could really develop feelings if you allow yourself

Yes, you are right as it all depends on the two individuals who are involved here.Without understanding each other, any love cannot sustain for sure and this is my belief. So, to understand each other one should communicate a lot with each other as that is the only way to understand each other in a better way isn't it? is that feeling in you still there or was it a long back story?

I do not have a personal experience about it but I do know of 2 people that they found love on the internet. One is even married to her chat mate and is now based in London. The other one has kids from a previous marriage but that did not matter to her chat mate. They have been travelling together and as far as I know, are still together until now and are planning to get married. Love in the internet is rare but it happens. I think too those who are interested, hey just have to be careful and discriminating about the person they start chatting with.

Actually i feel it is really nice to meet your partner in the net as one tends to talk more and understand each other whereas, in real life youngsters do get attracted more towards person and get physical first before the understand each other and that is why so many love failures are occurring only because of misunderstandings with each other.Don't you also feel this way?

YES!!! I not only feel in love but ended marrying the man. Chatting is a great way to know the persons inside. The person they are when no one else around. The issue is that person may or may not be the same person in real life. I have found that sometimes when I have met the person, they were much colder and not as open as they were on the internet. Or the physical part of the attraction was not there. So, yes, real feeling can develope for a person on the internet but they have to be the person they presented, or those feelings will go away.

ya it can lead to love if you are interested in the opposite person as much as he/she is in you and you have got quite a good understanding of the other person then you'll love the person no matter where he is from or what he looks like.

Well interest with opposite person will happen only after a few days of chatting as it also depends on how well you communicate with the opposite person isn't it? the funniest thing is, in internet chatting you just go crazy hearing some lovely names as yous art imagining yourself a lot and most of the times in young age.

I don't chat anymore. I have school, a job, a nagging fiancee, and my life is busy enough. But many youngsters do fall in love on the internet. Take my sister for example. She was playing a game, and meet a man her age, and they started to talk to each other intimately. They become bf/gf. Internet is overruling the world! Run!

Internet chatting will be during teenage most of the times as once we grow up, we really don't get much time for chatting isn't it? as the priorities in life will increase with added responsibilities which restricts time for internet chatting as happened in my case, though i still doc hatting a lot when there is time or find any close friend online as talking is the one which i just cannot avoid in life
