Few years ago, I really thought that Nokia was the leading brand in our country and in many other countries.. But nowadays, I'm really not sure if they are still the leading brand. having many competitors, and not just competitors.. very good competitors. Making the competition really hard. And there was even a year the I really thought that Motorola was making waves as well. but just last year , many Motorola stores was closed.. Over all I have no idea which is the leading brand nowadays.

yes, a few years back, motorola was the 'in' phone. a lot of people in school back then had a motorola razr or a moto slvr. i, myself, bought a razr then. it was the coolest phone that time. but yeah, after that, they didn't really come up with anything new, or at least anything that sold as well as the razr line.
i think nokia still has a huge marketshare, at least here in the philippines. people still like them because they are easy to use, and most of them have great features. although the thing that i don't like about nokia is that they always have new phones that you can't keep up with what's new anymore. like if you buy the latest nokia phone, in a month, they already have a new one so it would feel to you that your one-moth old phone is old anymore.
probably the 'in' phone right now is the iphone. i would like to have one, but sadly, it really costs a lot. so right now, i'm sticking to my nokia phones.

I am not really sure what is the best selling brand of cell phone. I have only had one Nokia, and that was a few years ago, and it was a brick phone as I call them. Anyway, I have had different brands, including Motorola, and I did have the razr as well, but I didn't like it all that much. Right now, I have a Samsung Omnia 2, and to me it is the best one, at least for me anyway. I like phones with lots of features, and it has that, and then some. I thoroughly enjoy my phone, as I can even access mylot from it, and post. I haven't done that all that much though, as it is much harder on a smaller screen. As long as I have access to my laptop, I won't post from my cell phone. Take care, and have avery good day.

Nokia is still the market leader but other companies are giving a close competition.
Many new companies has launched mobile sets and they are eating into the market share of nokia.
Motorola has somewhat faded but companies like samsung are still hanging there. Companies like micromax, onida and lemon mobile have launched sets which are very cheap as compared to nokia but if want quality then still nokia is the brand to go.

I do not know now the best selling cellphone brand. There are so many that will say its Blackberry, some will say Samsung, some will say Sony Ericcson and some wills says its Iphone. No matter what is the best selling phone, people patronize anything that are affordable and easy to use like NOkia and Samsung and Motorola. I do have Samsung phone and Iphone. I do not care a lot what is the best selling phone. What I care is I have a phone that I can use for communication.

I agree though Motorola phones might not be prettiest but Motorola phones packs an excellent feature set and decent call quality in a durable design.

You are right, actually as much mobile companies launch their products in the market, the competition is getting harder and harder. But i think customer always wants good quality product with a reasonable price, so that company would be good who will bring good quality products and the other thing is that retailers are the the guide for you as they can help you out to choose the good one and you yourself can quarries about information that you want to know through net searching and the most important think is you yourself test which product for u is better, go through the suggestion of the sellers, get information through net and then buy, then you ca be able to get a best one product and these also help you to increase your knowledge.

Here in the Philippines, Nokia is still number 1. Although I'm a Sony Ericsson user. My first phone was Nokia though. I think the biggest thing for Nokia is their user friendliness to everyone. It's like a 6-10 year old can actually operate a Nkia phone. One reason why other cellphone companies are making their navigation fields on cellphones as easy as possible.

That's a hard choice to make because every year they come out with a new phone and then everyone wants to buy it and then something else comes out and that becomes popular. But I would have to say right now the most leading brand of cell phone is samsung. I hear more people our buying samsung phones because their coming out with different brands of samsung. I recently just purchased a samsung phone and love it. Never had any problems with this phone either.

I guess it's still Nokia. But I prefer Samsung now as its cheaper and easier to use too. Nokia is a little pricey in our country.

I really think the same way. I feel like Nokia is leading brand in the cellphone industry because their phones are user-friendly and their durability. But nowadays a lot of cellphones brands are hitting the marketplace like Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericson etc.
