Before the summer vacation, I was dying to stay at home and not work. However spending two and a half months at home isn't a good idea. I don't get paid during summer and I don't have money to burn for expensive getaways. I did several trips to parks, museums, and movie theaters. I don't want to spend more than ten bucks for entrance tickets. I am running out of ideas and places to go yet I still have a month left. Anyone got a suggestion?

you can take a walk with your iPod, go to places with weird stuff or a place that has something you've been curious to check out, you can write about the things you hate the most when you're bored -- can take a lot of hints from there, grab a recipe book (that if you can cook) -- pick one recipe for the entire family, visit a friend if you want or make a friend if that sounds better, go online and look for something you might probably get addicted to at least for a couple of minutes.. hmm.. got a lot of things in my head but that's it for now. it's not obvious that i'm bored huh. yeah i do get bored -- like 90% of the day. hehehe..

There are lots of things you can do. You can use the internet for a number of things including, but not limited to, earning money and interacting with friends and family. You can go out for a walk/jog. You can learn how to cook/bake if you don't already know, and if you do, you can learn new dishes (there are some really good recipes online). Or you could read books.

Sleep lol, the best way to fight boredom. But also exercise is good usally I go on the treadmill when im bored depending on what time of day it is. That usally cures my boredom then I go back on the laptop for rest or play videogames. Reading is also a good cure for boredom find a good book and read it if you are bored and cant find anything to do.

I already read three books and don't have treadmill. But Shaun T's hip hop abs do keep me busy sometimes. Lol

Sometimes, no matter what we do, being bored is just inevitable. But we have to try to look on the bright side..hehe
Being bored means you're not in pain, you have enough to eat, and you're warm and safe. If being bored is the worst problem, things could be a lot worse, haha
Being bored also means we have time to relax and time to think. We an use that time to improve our life. If we do, it may turn out that being bored was the best thing that ever happened on us..
Good luck^^

I think because you feel bored in watching movies, going to park and museums try to save some money and avail some package tour. Try to invite more friends when you get it because the more member that will avail the package tour is the more cheaper it will be. You can check some tours through internet. You can also try to visit ride parks. I think visiting parks that has roller coaster, bump cars, and many many more can lessen your boredom.
