Good day fellow mylotter,
It is really hard and annoying to deal to some officemates who are pretending just to get the attention of the boss. Wherein, they are acting like they want to help you not for the reason they are really concern to extend a help but they are aspiring and want to acquire your task.
I have an officemate who is like this. She tries to be helpful, wherein, the bosses sometimes commended her for being helpful. But to my surprise, she is starting to acquire the task that was being assigned to me. And not only that, whenever, I was on vacation or on-leave, she likes to take and assume my task as if she was concerned to lend a help. But, the moment I came back from my vacation, the task which she handled temporarily will become her permanent task. Where, she will continue to work on that, as if, she is the key person for that particular job assignment.
If you were on my situation, what and how you will deal to an officemate like her?

in that case, i think what you should do to retain your task is work harder and do this task better than her, which would not need her help or key help. and then she can not take your task from you.
you should work harder. that's my advice, thx.

That would be so difficult to deal with, if you will complain to your higher boss that might lead clashes between two of you. Worst your boss might end up on her side and not on your side. I am sorry that I dont have professional advice for you, but I would like to share of what the same thing happened to me. Her attitude is really getting into my nerves. She is our product trainor and I did not know that she is under graduate. All of us in the office is graduate of any major I mean college graduate. Shame on her that she is undergraduate and she is acting as if she is really good in everything. The worst thing is that, she gets all the students we have. She has more class hours and we really bad about it. So what we did, all of us in the office complain about it. We wrote complain why we only have this class hours and she got that class hours. In fact, she dont deserve to be teaching because she is undergraduate. She is eligible but according to them she is good because she has a call center experience. Is that really the basis? We wonder why and we hope that it will be resolve.
