A quality product

So I bought a t-shirt at the concert last night. Just put it on, and I found 3 tags inside it. Checked by #15. Checked by #16. Checked by #19. Well dang, three people checked it. Must be a quality product! Or could be a justification for the really HIGH price. lmao
Are you happy to see that the quality checkers have guaranteed that you're getting a quality item? Or do you just toss them in the trash without noticing?

Could be... or they all wanted to look at it.

It has been a very long time since I bought any clothing that had a checker. the only thing I look for is if it is 100%cotton or not.

Those concert souvenirs are pricey. I do not pay a lot of attention to the quality checker tags, personally. It does not seem to help much.

it goes in the trash.i've seen "quality" garments that had to be almost completely restitched after the first wash.i'm beginning to wonder if they're using water soluable thread anymore.
oh,it fell apart,buy a new one..rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Reminds me of this time I went shopping with a friend. Her dad was a tailor and she wanted to get into designing clothing. She was looking inside the garments to see how well they were finished off and so on. $100 dress, done very badly as I recall...

Whatever your heart desires. Pick one. Or all three, whatever you want.

hi, i am #19. i am so happy that you like that t-shirt. i actually lost some of my id labels, so i place the #15 tag there (who happens to be a friend of mine). but i have no idea how #16 got there. she must have thought we were having a party and tossed in her tag for good measure
'....let it be, let it be....let it be. oh let it be...there will be an answer...let it beee...'

In this case, it was just a little sticker, smaller than a dime...

Well, I guess that they had to come up with a way to justify the price that you paid for your t-shirt. That said, I really don't typically pay attention to the quality assurance that I find on shirts when I buy them because they really don't mean a whole lot to me. Granted, I do want to know that what I have is going to withstand the test of usage, but the stickers, I think are somewhat taking things to an extreme.

yeah, no doubt. It's probably more a marketing ploy so that the customers THINK there's a quality assurance program or something.

Hi Dawny, I dont think we have that kind of checking out here, unless the order is for exports. :) True, you know. So you all are better off buying Indian goods in your country rather than purchasing it withing this country. :) Here we do not have a good legal system that could uphold our rights, nor are people aware about what sort of quality problems they can complain about. In any event, I dont think there are laws that support such system. :) And as far as three tags, are concerned, out here, we have manufacturer who supplies to some retail shops. These retailers sell directly to the customers, or through some agent who adds her (employment) margin, and this chain can mean several levels. :) Therefore, a product that the manufacturer supplied at 100 at shop could cost 125, and the person coming to your home to sell it would charge 135 or 140. :)

How about if I send you a box of stickers and you sneak into a clothing store and put them on some items for me? :D

Hee hee - I actually get annoyed when I see those little stickers . . . just another thing I have to peel off! You'd have to wonder if #19 was checking to make sure #16 was doing his job - which was making sure #15 was checking the shirt - ha ha!

Yeah, usually there's a price tag and some other label or sticker to get rid of, so it's just another one. But this was "Paul", so it's special. :D

I never check them. But here's a funny experience though. I bought a shirt online from a well known designer. I paid more than my arm's cost. You know what I found in the tag? Made in the Philippines. I'm buying something that my countrymen probably got paid for just a dime.
IRonic. All I can do is shake my head and curse myself for letting the bandwagon mentality get to me.

A lot of those designers have their stuff made in places where the labor is cheap, and then turn around and sell it for the fortune. It's the name you're paying for, not necessarily the quality.

Hi There,
I do like quality assurance in all the products i buy and going by your post i can say that i did buy a blue shirt back then in the year 2000 and 10 years later i still wear it though it has lost color a bit no one can realize it and no one ever belies that its that old
When i bought it had a quality checks by the country's bureau of standards and also the shops supervisor with a money back guarantee of four months. even up to date is still wear it more often as it does have a good mood and color scheme too.
Am thinking of retiring it due to all the service it has done unto me. maybe it should act as a souvenir for my children. enough said and when you go for quality don't complain about the price!
Cheers!

OH I have clothing that's much older than that. Then again, I don't wear it all that much (need to lose weight lol)...

I would be happy if the products are quality checked 3 times. I have never seen that happen anywhere before...quality checked thrice...

Most of the stuff I buy was "pre-owned" so it was inspected by everyone and his dog. (Clever dog, that.)
