Question about the activity and mostly the number near my nickname.

Why the numbers near mu nickname don't grow every time I make a discussion, post a replay, or leave a comment. Today I had 31 and now I have 40, believe me I have posted discussions and answered a lot of discussions more than 9. I posted a discussion 5 minutes ago and I had 40, after that I had 40 again. Is this normal, I could find the answer in the FAQ section or the guidelines. Please help.

You've already got your answer I see. However, you know it would be nice if we got partial credit for our efforts to reply to discussions. Though some say you do but I dunno.... I'd love to see an actual formula to how we get credited posts as well as earnings. Because if you follow some of the discussions unless it's heated or of high opinion on something or funny, people will not always reply to your reply on the discussion you started. *sigh*
