so me and my husband go out alot to casinos and just try to enjoy our life. is it wrong to go all over the place. we arent spending alot of money but mostly on gas but its not to bad. some people post how they think were fools to go all over and should be sitting home saving money. well when do you have a life then. just funny how people like to say something but me and him have a fun time together. are people just saying this cause there jealous or is it something more?
dont understand it.

Traveling is my top hobby. I have just come home from a trip to Canada. I visited Vancouver and Vancouver Island. I think that there is so much happiness when I am traveling. I think that a person must try to enjoy his or her life rather than sit at home saving money. Money doesn't make a person happy but doing enjoyable activities can. I think that people that moan about traveling a lot are just jealous.

There might be some jealousy involved. Also they might be telling you these things to try to help you have a better future. There could be an illness come up in your future or whole manner of things could happen to make it very wise now to perhaps cut down alittle and put some in an IRA. Sure you can have fun but why can't you put alittle back for your future too? I think whoever is telling you this is giving you very sound advise.

Everyone needs to have some fun but you also have to make sure that you have some kind of emergency fund to cover the unexpected. A good rule of thumb is to have enough to cover 3 months of living expenses put away but, in today's economy, it would be wise to have more saved. Some folks might be giving you grief because they're jealous but some may just be genuinely concerned.
