Got something to do with the charcoal. Some even use a certain kind of charcoal to make a distinct taste. The smoke penetrates the chicken making it more delicious!

I donĀ“t agree. I prefer the roasted chicken I bake indoors to dry barbecued chcken.I like to keep on spooning butter and juices over the chicken. I roast it in a medium oven so the skin ends crusty and yummy.

Hmmm..??? I heard it too form mom and neighborhood. They also tell me that it's better to eat a cooked-rice using charcoal and woods??! hmm.. I haven't read such science explanation about this but so far what I've understood is when we are cooking using the things of nature such as charcoal, bamboo sticks , banana leaves and woods it greatly affect because it gives off also its natural properties associating to others natural things during the cooking which adds the taste and smell of rice. hmmm...??? that's what I think..I'm going to look for a scientific answer, i'll post it here soon.

Well I was given that same information. I think it's because how it was cooked if you're using charcoal instead of the machine or other stuff. Thus making it naturally cooked and not forced as they often say.
