Yes, it's already July and we're going to second half of this year where most of summer movies has been released. Although so far almost all summer movies has been dissapointing, this is my top 5 picks for this year: 1. 3 Idiots. Yes, I rarely watched Indian movies since our cinema rarely plays it, but this one got a lot of hype in my country and been in the studio for almost 5 months! It's a really great story about friendship, hard work, and to realize your dream! All is well... 2. The Ghost Writer. It's another great movie by Roman Polanski. With a touch of Hitchcockian style in narrating the story and a great talent of actors starring in the movie, the suspense build up along the movie until it climaxed in the end! What a great finish on a movie! 3. Toy Story 3. Just watched it last week and I was thrilled to see the adventure of Woody and friends. It happily ends, but the ending somewhat made me reflected my life. It's not just a story about toys, it's an astounding story of life. 4. Shutter Island. Many twists along the movie that made me surprised, but this movie gave me chills on how bad people can turn against each other, it's a really great psychological thriller. 5. The A Team. So far, it is the best action movie coming out this year. The story is weak, but it was told in effective way that we only care about the action, which is full packed and thrilling.
