Thomas Mueller has been named as the Best Young Player for an wonderful performances in the world cup 2010. He is the one of top highest scorer of the world cup with 5 goals.
due to his abscence, Germany did not qualify for final of world cup 2010. Germany finished 3rd.

I absolutely agree with your views that Thomas Mueller has performed perfectly in this World Cup.As a very very young player,I hope that he will make greater progress and become a super star in the near future.
Maybe his presence would change the result with Spain to some extent ,but I don't think the paramount reason that Germany was beaten by Spain was due to his absence. As we all saw,Germany was all controlled by Spain so that their midfield players didn't run well at all. Germany had rare chance to shoot in that game.Meanwhile, precision on passing ball was not good for Germany.I think Germany should have behaved more actively.

Whatever,I appreciate his agility and technique very much.Meanwhile,I haven't ever seen any obvious sign of heavy pressure on his performance or his face at all.Maybe that's why he has behaved so perfectly.

i think due to his absence in semifinal, Germany took such type of poor strategy against Spain and lost it !!

To say that Thomas Mueller could have single handedly steered Germany into the finals is asking too much of the young player. Although I am a great fan of his, he is no Maradona. This World Cup has been a show of little stars. No superstars shown or new ones were born. We do have some very promising stars of the future though, maybe next time they will show us their full talent!

Yeah,as the continual growing on soccer technique and less and less gap among all the teams,I think it will become more and more difficult to win the competition with someone's single talent. It will be a overwhelming trend without any doubt in the view of mine.Meanwhile, this Word Cup has reminded us that team spirit is more important than single talent.

Mueller is the best invention in the world cup. He was the heart of the German Football team. I am still feeling very thrilling when i think about him. After the absence of Ballack, i never expect some thing form the team but he is genius and was in outstanding form in the world cup.
I hope he will maintain his form in next season also to be a Superstar of German Football.
