Zero response to a discussion. How do you Feel?

Yes i had a couple of discussions which had nil responses. I like the topic myself but it seems that many others didn't like that topic so i just asked one of my friend to see what the problem is. He said that the topic was somewhat unbelievable. He made me understand which topics would try and get the users attention. And since then i have always been doing to what he says pretty much. Thanks to him!

I never get 0 response in my discussions, my average response rate is 15-20, Even I have got 50-60 response on my popular discussions....So this is not a problem for me to feel sad

I have no experience (yet) having no response in one of my discussion. And I hope it wouldn't happen to me, cause it would bother me big time. But to prevent such thing to happen I just think over what I post a lot of time before putting them up. It's just anticipating what your readers want to read. And putting your post on the right "interest" topic. :)

sometimes maybe the other members are really not interested or could not really relate to that topic so they tend to keep off that topic. Maybe it's best to start a good one which is unversal that almost all members here could relate and they could respond

I had no discussion with a zero response, but some with 1 or 2 responses. I started more than half of my discussions in interests followed by less than 100 members, and I would not be surprised to have a discussion with zero response. I would be happy to be once in the daily digest, but I like these small groups and I made good friends sharing the same interests, so it does not matter if a discussion has only a few responses.

I don't have many that have had no response, but it does make you feel very sad I know!! I guess the problem could be that the discussion you start just doesn't interest people or they don't know how to respond to it. I don't respond to discussions that I know will be deleted for example. I think the thing to do is to have an interesting title and try to pick discussions that you think will interest people and then respond back to their reponses. You also need to have 'friends' who will look for your discussions. Good luck,

I have around 3 which has no responses, may be people didn't know what to write or it has been already discussed quite a number of times. anyway I don't mind, I start thinking for new interesting topics in hop of getting good responses, simple!
