Whenever I buy a new cell phone, I almost never stick with the battery it comes with. I'm on my cell phone a lot because of my work, I'm usually on it 2 - 3 hours at a time. I normally end up charging my phone 2 to even 3 times a day if I stay with original battery the phone comes with. Even with extended battery for the phone, I always end up having to charge the battery at least once through out the day or having to plug it in to charger at the end of the day.

Your battery is excellent in the past! I have never had such a battery which can last longer than 3 days, even though my talk time is very little. The battery that I am using need a recharge for every two to three days.
Since you do not need to use your phone so often, you should stick to your current one, while waiting for buying a new phone.
Happy posting and have a nice day!

Thanks for the nice advice...I will keep the old one and hope to get a new one as a gift as my birthday is nearing.

I use my cellphone frequently everyday. Such as I like to use it to listen to the ebooks, watch movies, surf the net etc. So the battery will run out soon. This is why I have totally six batteries and I almost charge it everyday.

Mine is charged up every 3-4 days. I wish it would last longer, but at least I don't have to charge it everyday. Now, my daughter has the HTC eris which is an Android phone and she has to charge it everyday, even when it is on stand by. I wouldn't want a phone that I had to charge everyday. It eventually causes the battery to lose its life, as it really doesn't charge up fully like it should. And also she will charge it whether it needs it or not, and I told her only to charge it when she gets the low battery warning. That is what I do, and it lasts so much longer that way, and since I turn it off at night it even lasts longer. All, in all, I have a very god phone, as it is the SAmsung Omnia 2, and I can even post in here from it. Take care, and have a very good day.

Well it depends upon battery size and rating, good battery by Nokia last longer, but by habit i charge my cell phones, three in number, all NOKIA every evening for one hour, it helps me a lot..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.

Hi,
I don't think there is a need to charge our mobile everyday.
For me, I will only charge my mobile when the battery is running low.
I heard from my friend, it is better to charge mobile battery when it is really running low, or else the mobile will easily spoil. I am not sure how true it is.
The most important is to bring along your mobile charger when you are travelling,in case you need to re-charge the battery during your trip.

If your battery is dying down quickly then you need to change it. I have been charging every alternate day as i dont get many calls.

I have to charge my mobile almost daily because i listen music from it and my talking time is also more than average.
My mobile is also getting old so its battery power has weaken a bit and i am considering to buy a new mobile. It gets sometimes frustrating when you pick your mobile it shows that battery is low.

I really don't have to charge my phone everyday. Maybe it's because of the way I use my cellphone that battery doesn't depletes so fast. And I think it's the way you use your phone that the battery drains so fast like calls, games and browsing.
